4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750 ml, "Bottled on 02/12/07." That’s right; another cellar treasure. Pours a pinkish brown beer under a fizzy Belgian type head. Smell of grape juice, kind of like their later Sixty-one. Smell has that coriander, plus some aromatics probably from Belgian malt, and maybe a bit of the wine barrels, though it’s almost like incense. Taste has very distinctive Pinot Noir, and still has plenty of yeast to it as well. I had this bottle sitting upright, but it must have gotten stirred around when I opened it. A lot of citrus to it as well. I guess I like the wits more when they’ve been duded up a bit beyond the natural versions of the style. Some oxidation midway through suggests that that probably should not age as long as I let this sit.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
75 cl bottle @ home
Aroma has toffee typical to Belgian ales. Also some apricot and other ripe fruits. Flavour has toffee, apricot and distant oaky notes. Quite typical Belgian strong amber; the wine is well hidden, it can be observed only as acidicness and raw apples in the background. A bit too sweet and sticky but nice anyway.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
75 cl bottle.
Pours clear dark golden color with a large head. Aroma feels a bit out dated, some cardboard, hay and soap, some yeast, fruits and hops. Flavor is sweet with fruits and caramel, some hay, spice notes and mild wooden notes. A bit weird but decent.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750mL bottle an I’ve got no age information, I’m guessing it’s inside of a year old. Nose is thoroughly strange, reminds of the dank and dingy antique barns of Mullica Hill, countless old muffy book pages, some orange peel, different yeast than expected. Pours a vibrant clear orange with plenty of carbonation and a sudsy off-white head. Taste is very sweet, coriander heavy both in spice and scratch on the throat; alcohol well integrated, some oily and vinous character to the medium body, faintest white pepper with faintish yeast. Fruity, with a little bit of berry right up the middle, but falls short of being called sultry or smooth. Clean and masterful, with good complexity and an interesting take that is worth trying, if you can manage it for half-off.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Quite a strong and robust wit. I like the base brew, but am not sure if the Pinot infusion adds anything. Probably would benefit from ratcheting down the ABV a point or two as well.
