Hazy orange color, small white head, some lace. Aroma of banana, coriander, juniper and maybe black tea. Spicey and sweet. Honey, coriander, cinnamon, tea, banana, rose water. Interesting, spicey mix of German wheat beer and Belgian strong ale. Good beer nothing to do with sahti.

Tap at Churchkey. Golden color, large white head. Aroma of jasmine, dandelion. Taste has summer fruit and spice, very much a mixture of a lot of competing tastes and aroma. Interesting but jumbled.

Bottle at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration Tune-Up, London. Pours a light, hazy yellow with a fluffy, white head. Sweet, herbal nose with some chai. Big sweet flavor with spices, light caramel, more chai. Full bodied with average carbonation. Crisp, spicy finish with some doughy caramel, toasty sugars, mild herbal bitterness, some pepper, lasting chai. Very, very sweet and interesting. Plenty of flowers. Good stuff.

750ml bottle. Hazy amber body topped by small but persistent off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, cardamom, juniper berry, chai, light molasses. Taste is moderately sweet, cardamom, tea, some spice, caramel, melon, cane sugar, light alcohol. Medium-full body, some stickiness.

Bottle shared by joshuahfl. Pours hazy dark gold with a foamy 2 finger off-white head. Nice gin aroma. Medium body with mild carbonation. Very smooth. Tea aspect is muted. So much juniper it’s almost ginger. Very tasty, and the heat is also muted. Good.

Pours a hazed orange color with a bit white head. As with most sahteas, a very herbal aroma. Lots of juniper and maybe some ginger notes. Lots of spices as well, mostly coriander and cardamom. A slight tartness is also noticeable. Strangely, there is a strong flavor of banana to go along with the juniper and spice character. Lightly tart and lemony, which is sort of interesting. Actually pretty enjoyable.

750ml bottle–pours a thin white ring for a head and hazy gold color. Aroma is herbal/spice, sweet light malt, yeast, butterscotch which turns towards caramel as it warms. Bottle from Dilly Deli.
Poured a clear golden color with an average off-white frothy head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Good aroma of dough, juniper and banana. Medium to full body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy complex bittersweet finish of medium to long duration.
Interesting complex brew.
