COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a clean, golden ale brewed with an irresponsible load o’ fresh hops. The bulk of the hop character comes from 50 pounds of Wet Galena hops shipped directly from the fields of Washington to our brew-house. Once a year we utilize these super fresh, straight from the vine hops to make a unique hop centric beer. Brewer Bryan (check out his blog post on this beer) piled the hops on top of a base made with American and German barley and a bit of German wheat then fermented it with a German Kolsch yeast. Kolsch yeast is one of the few German ale yeasts out there and leaves us with a dry and crisp beer without the normal fruitiness associated with ale yeasts. Southern Cross hops from New Zealand contribute a bit of bitterness, but the Galena hops are the star of the show providing a pungent earthy hop presence.

From the tap poured a light golden color with a fair amount of head. Light malty hoppy flavor with a quick finish.

Reviewed back in 2010 - It’s highly drinkable. Just does down very easy. Dry and Crisp. There isn’t much to the smell but in the taste it has a nice dose of fresh hops. Small dose of wheat. Bitter and dry finish. Not an overwhelming taste either

Tap. Pours hazy straw yellow with a small, fizzy white head, low retention with light lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, grainy, hay, cereal), average hops (herbal, grassy), and light esters (fruity) with notes of dust. Flavor is heavy malt (grainy, hay, straw, cereal), average hops (herbal, spicy), and light esters (fruity). Light body, low warmth and creaminess, medium carbonation with a dry finish.

On tap @ the brewpub, Rehoboth De-Cloudy golden pour w/a moderate white head. Fresh hop/Wheat aroma. Pretty strong floral hop bite on the front end on this one, hoppy but not sticky. There is a bit of wheat in the background, but it was having trouble pushing thru the hops. Not much carbonation, long hop finish. Pretty Good.

On tap at brewpub. Pours a cloudy light honey color with very good head retention and lacing. Aroma is faint with wheat, doughy biscuits and some hop spice. Taste is well balanced with a nice hop presence and a crisp wheat finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a good lingering flavor.

On draft at the Rehoboth brewpub in celebration of our 75mi ride for MS. The pour was excellent and inviting looking, almost fuorescent white to yellow in color, extremely cloudy and hazy, looking almost witbier like, but smelling nothing like it: tons of pine and spicey hops going on, wheat too. The flavor was like an American wheat with a crisp and zingy fore and finish, spiciness all around, citrus too. Dry finish, full hearty body, firm zingy finish there too. A nice looking and feeling beer, strongly hopped, nice stuff.
