growler (74), West Virginia, USA Mar 18, 2005 12 oz bottle. Copper pour with a slight haze and creamy white head. While unimpressive at first, somewhat spicy and fruity aroma. Unimpressive with the first sip but improves as you go. Slightly bitter finish. Not very bitter for even your average IPA. Refreshing and very drinkable.
branspra (15), Arlington, Virginia, USA Sep 5, 2008 Bottle. Good session beer that can enable one to enjoy a day of drinking (tailgate perhaps). Light color with small head and minimal resin. Much better than mass-produced lagers for enjoying several beers. BuckeyeSammy (360), New York City, New York, USA Aug 31, 2008 Nothing special or out of the ordinary with this mediocre beer. Smells like a farm, tastes like burnt farts. That’s about it. Shame on you dogfish, pretty bad. Some malt, banana, a splash of hops in flavor. Upside? I guess it’s balanced.. NomDeBeer (148), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Aug 11, 2008 This is a remarkably bland beer for Dogfish Head. Not bad at all, just watery and uneventful. Mild citrus hop flavor and aroma. Vas19 (214), Maryland, USA Jul 30, 2008 Pours clear amber with a white head. Aroma is wood and hops. Flavor is more of the same, but the hops taste dirty to me. Not as crisp and clean as I would like. Mediocre. fordest (1684), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Jul 30, 2008 Decent citrus and hops aroma. Nice mild hoppy flavors too. Pretty tasty for an APA.
