Papsoe (11030), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 16, 2005 Updated: Apr 16, 2006(Bottle 35,5 cl) Dogfish Head may best be known for it’s "extreme" beers, but fortunately they also make more accessible beers like this Pale Ale, which they call their flagship. Beautiful orangey golden, unfiltered with a small, dense head. Very soft, malty character with a nutty touch and a bit of sweetness. Has the typical fruity ale character, and even though the hops are prominent, they don’t bite as hard as in an IPA. and 280306 omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Jan 21, 2002 Amber. Clean, dry and superbly balanced. Very drinkable. Oakes (7030), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 18, 2001 Well-balanced session ale. It’s hard to wrap your head around the fact that there aren’t caramelized rose petals, sandalwood oils, hickory-smoked ostrich eggs or some other bizarre stuff in here. Imagine, a normal-tasting beer from DFH. kp (6300), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 12/24/1998
