Pours hazy reddish-brown with a long-lasting rocky pink head. Aroma is of tart raspberry and citrus. Tastes initially fruity, but finishes bitter. Notes of grapefruit, and red wine. A very unique beer!

Red-orange/amber colour with a fading frothy dark white head. Red-cara malt and cherry as well as red grape notes with hints of dark fruits develop on the nose. Light lively; soft texture with a medium body. Flavours of fruity almond and raspberry sweetness develop within a juicy malt bed. Very faint fruit sourness and some floral hop notes at the back. Light winey astringent soft finish.

12 oz bottle dated 5/31/14. Looks like cranberry juice with a slight film. Smells oddly boozy. Tastes like cheap sweet red wine.

Bottle: Reddish color with not much of a head. Dry aroma of hops and some red wine. Hoppy flavors which are followed by a wine dryness in the aftertaste. But not over the top. This doesn’t have the sweetness as most radlers. I would keep this in the IPA category. Still has all the main characteristics of an IPA.

Bottle - Has a light purple pour. Has an aroma and taste of champagne. Interesting but not one I would look for again.

Thin light pink head of fine bubbles which dissipates rather quickly. Cherry vanilla dominates the aroma with some butter and grapes thrown in for good measure. A really weird combination of aromas. Color is a slightly hazy medium red. More vanilla and cherries in the flavor with other fruit (raspberries and grapes). Very soft velvety mouthfeel. Light tartness late swallow. A strange brew but a pretty good one!

Bottle... Pours deep, clear and dirty orange with rosé highlights and a mid-sized, fluffy, white head. Great retention. The aroma offers notes of grapefruit and dust with a splash of Sauvignon Blanc. Wrong grape, but that’s what I get. Full-bodied with a fatty mouthfeel and jazzy carbonation. Admittedly, this bottle isn’t at all fresh. The hops and malts are approaching perfect balance at this point. Crusty malt sweetness and a dessert wine-like aspect are equaled by earthy, citrusy, rindy bitterness. Finishes crisp, lightly sweet, and then raspy and dry.

Beautiful beautiful beer, red/rose gold colour and a white dense and two+ finger head. Winey and hoppy aroma. This is a very interesting beer with some of the texture and aftertaste of a red wine, it is smooth and easy to drink. I think it is great, thanks for experimenting dogfish!

Tap @ Mellow Mushroom. Blush color light lacing. A light peppery dank bitterness. Not as hoppy as 60 min. A little grainy. A tad sour. Meh.

Amber color with a beige head. The aroma contains some citrus, caramel, grapes, and herbal notes. The flavor is somewhat bitter but mostly sour with some citrus lots of lemons, caramel, and a bit of sour apples and grapes. The aftertaste is a bit dry and sour. Overall this is a typical malty east coast IPA from Dogfish Head with a bit of sour thrown in. Its confused am I an IPA or a sour? Its neither. Its not bad but nothing I say seek out.
