On tap. Taste is bread, funk, grape juice and citrus. Very unique and smooth. Not for hop lovers but still very decent.

12oz bottle. Pours a nice deep red. Small tight head. Light fruity aromas mixed with citrus hop aromas. Has a nice tropical fruit favor in addition to the normal 60min hop flavors. A very good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft at the Brass Tap, poured an amberish red color with aromas of wine, grapes, and light grain. Flavors were red wine, with some feint hops, mostly vine, and some feint oak.

12 oz poured into snifter. Color is a cloudy red with minimal head. Aromas of red wine and fruit. Red wine apparent from the get go. Lose the hops. Hard to believe this is the 60 min ale base. I don’t like red wine but am a big fan of this beer. Totally different than I expected. Mouthfeel medium.

12 oz bottle purchased at the Total Wine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The pour is a clear copper mahogany ruby with a two inch white slightly pinkish head. The aroma is cereal grain, red wine along with some honey sweet floral. The taste is initially quite strong with red wine grape, then turns to sweet and finishes with the grass floral. The palate is medium bodied, dry sweet and a hint of wine like booze in the back. Nice enough, fun use of wine grapes.

A purplish-brown ale with no head. A mildly sweet grape nose with a whole boutique of florals. The body is medium with diverse flavors. The grape must is in the back but leaves a nice linger, a fantastic beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Bottle:   Reddish side of amber, thin sudsy off-white head, slight pinkish hue, little lacing or carbonation.   Faint vinous like hoppy nose, even then the hops are minor.   Very minor white grape aspect up front, hops are minor.   Would make a better Pale Ale as its not all that bitter.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Faint white grape finish, little to no hop bitterness.   Might as well have been a Pale Ale with White Grape juice.   Not bad, but not all that interesting either.   Too light for an IPA.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2014 Bottle: amber & copper with some deeper ruby tones hanging about. Lavender colored head foams up nice & big... creamy, chunky, and long-lasting. Aroma is Welch’s grape juice with heavy must, like damp wood or mild mildew. Faint leafy essence from the hops. Taste isn’t as good as the smell... full of grape juice with a bad, cellar-ish, old funky, weird, musty off-flavor... Not like the "good funk" you find in a gueuze. Pretty gnarly stuff here, like grape juice with mildew & old rain water. Not very good at all.
