From a bottle. Pours clear medium brown with a pink tint and a thin white head. Smells like dry red wine, grapes, booze. Tastes slightly sweet, slightly dry, like red grapes, booze, and some malt. Medium body and low/medium carbonation.

On tap at DFH Fairfax. Clear copper with purplish thin head. Definitely get the grapes on the nose with some malt and earthy hop character. Some sour grape skin flavor with the typical 60 minute malt sweetness and hop bitterness. Soft carbonation, medium bodied, dry finish.

Poured a hazy dark amber with a broken off white head and some lace. The aroma is weak malt and hop. The flavour is weak bitter with a hoppy liquorice bitter metallic palate. I canít say I found this too enjoyable.

Bottle a post GABF tasting, courtesy of Kermis. Pours a clear amber beer with a big, fluffy white head on top. Aroma of grapes, citric hops and some vineous characters. Flavour is ok, medium bitter with a slight sour, white wine influences. Quite an interesting brew, many characters to discover here. Nice one.

Bottle shared from the brewpub. Pours a rick amber with a thick off white head. Aroma of plastercine, grapes, some wood, caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a not so great vinous quality fading into a toffee finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Not so great.

Poured darker than expected, a deep copper color. Lots of hops and citrus in the aroma. The flavor is smooth at first, with grapefruit and light hops slipping in. Smoother than most IPAís Iíve had. Kind of neat and interesting.

Buttery raspberry and lime nose. Clear copper with a pinkish hue, billowy thick head. Vinous lime flavor, dry, somewhat less buttery on the palate, but diacetyl is present. Grass on the back end. Bottle on date is 08/08/13, so it isnít all that old. This is not something I would seek out, for both its execution and concept.

I had to think abou tit for a minute and after that I realized that how could you not give this a ten for aroma. Itís freaking beer and it smells like a mild and sweet beer. It looked like beer so lets rate it accordingly. It tasted like a mild IPA because of the grapes infused in the beer. It did not leave an aftertaste. And overall it was pretty damn good. I could take this beer home to my mom but think about it my momís an alcoholic so I can take anything with alcohol home to her. I really enjoyed this beer more than i thought i would. HA HA i just said would....Donít forget dont drink and drive and dont drink and forget your piece of big red gum. I love you guys...im out.

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2014 The aroma is dank and mustyÖin a good way. A fruity note is also present. Pours a surprising wine-pink with a white ring and minimal lacing. The taste is vinous, biscuit, with suggestions of citrus and a slow long lasting hoppy finish. Medium body with crisp dry carbonation. Dry mouthfeel. Overall, I liked this beer. The taste and appearance were both unexpected yet very rewarding. Would drink again.
