3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
A reddish purple beer with a small grey head. The aroma is fruity both from the hops and the grape, they blend nicely. The flavor is the same with more floral notes.

More of a session version of DFH 90, but the grape/wine flavor is noticeable and it has a purple hue.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a distinct light purple with a two finger head with a purple tint. Starts with strong hop notes that stem from the continually hopped 60 minute IPA that are immediately balanced out by Syrah grape must. This leads to a light bodied red wine finish while holding a hint of hop bitterness that does not way heavy on the pallet.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewery, served in a tasting glass next to the 60-minute IPA. Pours hazy copper-pink with a large pinkish off-white head that fades to a thin remnant. The nose has big fruity notes of strawberry and red grapes, along with apple and some pale, grainy malts. Hops are pretty minimal. The flavour is moderately sweet with a grainy malt base and a huge amount of fruit and berries; hops peek through towards the end. It closes out with a medium-long fruity and slightly hoppy finish. On the palate it is light-medium in body with a smooth texture with a slight astringency. Overall, an interesting fruit beer but the base is completely unrecognizable here. 2014-05-01

Orange-pink pur with a thin white head. Aroma has a lot of grape and yeast. Nice and tart, with a green-grape flavor. Medium carbonation. Lingering grape and tartness into the finish. Really liked this one.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tasted on tap at DFH with ML. Pours hazy red-brown with white head. Aroma is fermenting grape. Flavour is tart grape and plum which drown out the hops. Too much Syrah mist for me.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle, consumed on 4-30-14. Dry, pungent aroma features a nice smell from the hops. I do get the grape in both its fruit form and white wine (not red) scents. Weird but good smell. Pours a clear copper-bronze. Looks like a rose wine. Nice color. Small amount of beige head with a slight pinkish hue. Moderate effervescence. Dry taste features flavors of white wine (again, not red), lemon, and grapefruit. It’s not particularly winey or grapey, but there definitely is an element of those qualities. Good hops in the flavor. Dry aftertaste. Medium body. Frothy in the palate. Overall, the beer is not as wine-like as I expected. It is unmistakably a beer, albeit one that has light grape/wine flavoring, but it is not a beer/wine hybrid. Ultimately, the grape element probably pulls the beer down, and the beer would be better without it, as the base hoppy taste is notably enjoyable.
