3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear rosy/amber pour with a fleeting pink head.
Light fruity aroma. slightly vinous.
The flavor is IPA highlighted by the hop bitterness on the front, with a wine-like finish with acids and tannin.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Smells sweet and hoppy, has a nice dark reddish color to it. It's sort of watered down IPA with a tiny bit of hop and something sweet which I guess is the grape. It's sort of a tease to an actual IPA.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Light purple pour with white head. Aroma is light fruitiness and a touch of floral notes. Flavor is dry fruitiness and a touch of tannin like bitter finish. An odd beer. Not something I could drink a lot of.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Copper color and very little carbonation. Aroma immediately has grape skin. Flavor is moderately bitter with hops but there is some taste of grape here also. A little acid, and aftertaste with light hops and fruit. I enjoyed this.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pour is a beautiful sparking yet hazy brownsh gold, big cloudy head that evaporates quickly. Leaves tiny lacing. Smell is bitter hops clashed with fresh fruit, grape peel, sour green apple, flowers. Taste follows, lightly bitter, not a hop-bomb, sour grape and citrus. Lasting lightly bitter aftertaste

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks Alon. Clear amber. Aroma of butter, slightly skunky and slightly piney hops, malt, caramel, and some overripe grapes. Sweetish flavor with malt, caramel, some grape hints, and bitterish stale hops. Medium-bodied.

Keg @ The Hanging Bat, Edinburgh. Pours pink/red thin white head. Nose is citrus, pine, slighty sweet white wine thing going on. Taste is wine, fruity wine like a zinfandel rose but then with a soap finish, thin.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear dark copper color with golden orange edges and a two finger, frothy white head that very slowly settles into a thick, lasting ring. Very good retention with streaks of soapy lacing left behind.
Earthy, musty aroma with soil-y, piney hops, sweet malt and vinous dark fruit notes. The hop profile is a bit tame and one dimensional for my preference with hints of grass, dirt and pine needle. Sweet malt backbone is prominent with caramel toffee and dark fruit along with jammy grape must. The grape must really stands out in the nose with a prominent jelly-like character along with some plum, raisin and other berries. I like the grape and other dark fruit notes but the hops are almost completely buried/overpowered. Doesn’t really smell like an IPA.
The flavor profile is almost the complete opposite of the aroma. The nose was dominated by vinous fruit with subtle hops but the flavor is very hop forward with dry, earthy bitterness that lingers over the malt backbone and vinous fruit flavors into a dry finish. Floral and earthy with grassy, piney hops that provides bitter resinous flavor which is countered by caramel malt, toasted bread and dark fruit. The grape must stands out with jammy sweetness along with hints of currant, raisin and plum. The grape must provides a nice counterpoint to the bitterness but the hops are a bit one dimensional and the malt backbone is stronger than I prefer. Easy to drink and an interesting take on the continuously hopped minute series but it’s not a beer that I would seek out again.
