3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle:   Reddish side of amber, thin sudsy off-white head, slight pinkish hue, little lacing or carbonation.   Faint vinous like hoppy nose, even then the hops are minor.   Very minor white grape aspect up front, hops are minor.   Would make a better Pale Ale as its not all that bitter.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Faint white grape finish, little to no hop bitterness.   Might as well have been a Pale Ale with White Grape juice.   Not bad, but not all that interesting either.   Too light for an IPA.

1.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
UPDATED: JAN 15, 2014 Bottle: amber & copper with some deeper ruby tones hanging about. Lavender colored head foams up nice & big... creamy, chunky, and long-lasting. Aroma is Welch’s grape juice with heavy must, like damp wood or mild mildew. Faint leafy essence from the hops. Taste isn’t as good as the smell... full of grape juice with a bad, cellar-ish, old funky, weird, musty off-flavor... Not like the "good funk" you find in a gueuze. Pretty gnarly stuff here, like grape juice with mildew & old rain water. Not very good at all.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Overall I probably wouldnt get this again but it’s at least interesting to try. Lookswise it is unique. Smells like sour grapes mixed with basement but flavor ain’t bad. Bitter finish with sour. flavor.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pretty pink color and rosé head.
Sour & mildly sweet, enough bitterness to remind us it's still a beer,

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a clean amber color with a frothy white head. Hoppy aroma with hint of grapes. It’s bitter as I would expect from an IPA but with a sweetness that balances this beer out very well. Easily drinkable. Soft carbonation and light bodied.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2013-10-10. Crisp dark orange body has a pinkish hue to it with a smallish off white head. 3++ Aroma is pleasantly fruity, grape, musty touches. Flavour is relatively bitter throughout the base, pleasant fruity grape character. Average plus bodied palate, moderate carbonation. Enjoyable but not necessarily enticing me for more. 3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Had on tap in a pint glass.
Pours a clear dark copper with a thick one finger white head. Pretty good head retention.
The aroma is very earthy and dank. I like it a lot! There is also a decent caramel malty touch.
More dank hops in the flavor. Some grass and floral notes too. There is a bit of a toasty malt backbone. Moderate bitterness. My biggest issue is the mouthfeel. It is just extremely watery and a bit tart which detracts.
Overall, a pretty mediocre beer from Dogfish Head. I love the hop aroma and taste but that is about it. Not my favorite.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle into signature pint glass, bottled on 8/8/2013. Pours lightly hazy copper color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off light pink head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of mango, red grape must, peach, tangerine, orange zest, floral, grass, light caramel, bread, and floral/musty earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of hop and grape must notes with balanced malt; and good strength. Taste of tangerine, orange zest, lemon zest, red grape must, floral, grass, light caramel, bread, light pine, and floral/musty earthiness. Fair amount of fruity tartness/bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, grape must, floral, grass, light caramel, bread, light pine, and musty earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and complexity of hop and grape must flavors; with a good malt balance and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly syrupy, smooth, and crisp mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good flavored IPA style. Good balance and complexity of flavors and very smooth to drink. Flavors were a bit like grape soda at times; but this is a unique and nicely enjoyable offering otherwise.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This one poured out darker than I expected with a slight ruby-red color. It has a thick bubbly head that goes away quickly. The aroma doesn’t resemble most IPAs. Instead it primarily has a nice fruitiness to it with the hops as a back up. Taste/palate is effervescent with just enough hops to remind you it’s an IPA. I like this one because unlike many IPAs it doesn’t try to just pack a bunch of hops into one beer just for the sake of making it over the top hoppy.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Poured a nice ruby red the taste was interesting no grape sweetness was like a 60 minute though without that tasty aftertaste.
