Red amber with lasting thin white head; rich hoppy aroma but not over the top and it has notes of tea; Flava is a bit weak with tea and some hoppiness; feels thin with foamy fizz; finishes dry with little other Flava, some hops

ROGUE (2086) - Newark, Delaware, USA - JUN 7, 2013
On tap at 2SP. Poured a clear copper color with pinkish hues and a one finger frothy white head. Aroma has a big fruity red grape presence blended nicely with light piney hops, a touch of citrus, and bready malts. Taste of biscuity malts, crisp citrus and herbal hops, and a musty grape presence that is well balanced, giving a general mild sweetness to the beer. Medium body with lively carbonation and easy drinkability. Not bad, but definitley prefer the fruitless 60 min.

Bottle; poured a dark orange/caramel color with an off white head. Aroma of fruit, grapes, earth, and a bit funky. Flavor was a bit of a let down; grapey and musty, with some earthy hops. A touch medicinal. A bit of a bummer

Clear copper with a thin white head. Strong nose of dank earthy hops with some notes of spicy floralness, soil, grass, and pine resin, all mixed with a little bit of grape. Flavor is a little sloppy, with a muddled malt backbone of earthy sweet toffee and a mix of grape and Saison-like barn notes, with hops overriding soon after with an earthy grassy dank-ness, a bit of resin, and finishing with tones of grape must and hop-kissed caramel.

Another off centered attempt by dogfish. Good hit. Pours light purple with a pink head. Aroma is fruity. Grape palate with a bitter finish. I like it.

Draft. Pours like fizzy grape juice. Smells like wine. Tastes like fizzy wine. Bartender says it goes well with BBQ. Could definitely see that.

I enjoyed this. In taste similar to the 60 minute with a slight woodiness around the edges. Color is beautiful, similar to a clairet. Nose is more complex that the 60 as well, with slight funk.

Not a bad beer, just a bad IPA. Looks lovely, with a nice red hue. On the nose, it reminds me a bit too much of white zin. Gentle in the mouth initially, but unfolds into a layer of grapes with very little hop presence. The finish disappears rather quickly. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample at South Philly Tap roomPours reddish brown with huge head and soapy lacing. Aromas and flavor of dogfish rust, grapes, shampoo, shit hops and other gross flavors I have grown accustomed to from Dogfish. Too carbonated and thin, not of fan of this one and 80% of the their other beers. Glad I didn’t pay for this one.
