Pours deep, dark red. Lasting head and some lacing. Aroma has notes of cherry and grape with a moderate hop presence. Taste is bitter sweet with notes of wine, grapefruit, and peaches. Finish is mildly alcoholic.

Tap. Pours dark amber with thick, creamy off-white head. Aroma is floral and pine hops, biscuit malts, light grapes, and light figs. Flavor is balanced toasted malts, hop bitterness, and berry fruit esters; dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

I appreciate dogfish trying to do something different than just another regular ipa, just wish their beers weren’t so pricey. Purple color is interesting, definitely good grape presense, more so than other beers breweed with fruit. I think it could make a goo session ale.

Bottle. Pink? Colored pour with a white head. Smells like an IPA with some grapes in it. Taste is pretty close to the way it smells. It was alright, perhaps a bit too much grape in it for me.. A novelty as most of their beers are. I just read 61 minute and immediately thought it was a variation of 60. Little did I know... pretty much the reason I quit buying Dogfish beers other than 60 and WWS is summed up with this beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I really enjoyed this one. Appearance was light pink. Aroma was of hops and grape. Flavor was typical IPA, hop forward and aggressive, with a nice dose of grape thrown in there. Very enjoyable.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Light sweetish nose of cherries and light brandy. Dark reddish copper color with a soap sudsy head. Caramel with herbs and sherry / some sour bitterness added to the fruit / finishes a bit dry. Medium thin body. Tasty -- but doesn’t really develop in any direction. Grape must... well, I suppose it could.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle poured into a tumbler glass.
Unique wine-ish color with orange, red and purple hues and a pinkish head.
Somewhat bizzare aroma of grape candy, wet wood, earth and plums.
Sweetish taste of baked fruits, sugar, wine, alcohol, faint malt and low bitterness.
Medium body, easy to drink, interesting but a bit strange and far from an IPA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is another great IPA. It has a slight purple color, real noticeable as you pour it. Once poured, has a red tint. Slight head and low carbonination. Slight earthy aroma. The hops come alive as you drink this. Excellent balance of sweet, bitter and hops. The grape must is a great way to add to ad already great beer. I recommend if you like IPAs, you should try this one.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A heavily wine tasting ipa. Made with grape Syrah the finish makes you feel like you are drinking a glass of bitter wine. Smells like wine.
