Tap in tall, narrow, straight sided glass at Blues Bar. I’m having this after starting my meal so some nuances may be lost. That said, I think this will pair well with the meal I’m enjoying. Cranberry iced tea color in the glass with a lavender colored foam head; about half a finger’s worth. Watered down grape juice aroma. Flavor is aromatic hops, mild resin, biscuit malt, and flowery herbs. I’m really surprised by how flowery this is, and not from the hops. It tastes like a hoppy pale ale up front but the finish is elderflower, lavender, jasmine, and a whisper of cardamom. Medium palate and pretty clean finish. Unusual and highly desirable with spicy chicken in a tomato sauce.

Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly fruity, caramel malts, hops, toffee, dried fruits, strawberries, hay, biscuits, peach. Taste is fresh fruity, hops, tangerine, strawberries, grass, citrus peel, caramel, leafs, peach. Medium bitterness. Very nice and fruity.

12oz bottle. Kool-Aid purple, with a white-purple fizz. Very active bubbles, cascading to the surface. Aroma of beer with musty old wine. Tastes like really bad wine. Essence of beer. Finishes with a candy grape flavor and a lingering hop bitterness. There are definitely notes of malts. Hops in the end of the palate. Certain of the red grape. If there ever was a good tasting beer and wine mix... we’re getting closer. Not sure who’s is worse: Blue Moon or Magic Hat. (3761)

Bottle. Pours light clear red with a thin head. Weird red-wine-esque notes, light fruity hops, red berries, and toffee. Dry and slightly bitter finish. Not awful, but it just doesn’t really work for me, I guess. Not something I’d ever care to re-visit.

Doesn’t go well with Krunchers original chips. Pours a purple clear hue with a white purplish head. Smells like grapes and dirt. Taste is like moth balls, grape, and little hops with a light body. Not great, not horrible, but drinkable with ease.

Clear bright amber with pinkish hues and fair ring of offwhite head. Slightly hoppy, but not how you would normally expect it. The red wine grape notes really mask the hoppiness quite a bit. Interesting twist. Kinda like a pale ale mixed with red wine. I actually kinda liked it.

Bottle. Pours a nice ruby color with a solid white head. Nose is toffee like with strong grape notes. Taste is very vinous. The grape really dominates. If the hops came through a bit more to balance the grape this could be good, but it's kind of mediocre as presently constituted. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle pour into a pint glass for this brew in Seattle. Grape must is weird, but this is the dogfish style...

Bottle. Pours a dark ruby red grape wine color with a mild head that fades. Taste develops as it warms. Slightly hoppy and sweet. Very interesting. Hope they come out in 4 packs ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
