Pours a reddish copper color with no real lacing or head retention. Tastes like grape and finishes funky and bitter. Not too fruity, but it is a very good beer. Like this one a lot.

Sweet fruit up front that is dominates the beer. As a syrah drinker I have to say this is not for me as the overall feel is lolly water.

Not an improvement. Good but seems like a novelty. Nice hoppy and fruit aroma. Nice color and average palate. Flavor was a toned-down IPA with a sour berry hint. Light and easy to drink.

bottle @ Chief Market / Lima OH --- Nearly clear dark amber color, smooth ivory 1" head, bands of lace. Aroma of malt and earth. Taste is malt that has a little dry wine mixing in on the swallow. This combination wouldn’t be well-served by any hops, so the "lack of " works as the malt and wine move to a short finish. Interesting enough to try again.

A unusual concoction with a strange flavor of hops and mild grape skins. Strong bite with a weak finish. Crisp and astringent at the end ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours clear amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, toffee, citrus and grape. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long malty, caramel and fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the brewpub. It’s a clear amber colored beer with a small beige head. It’s rather malty on the nose, with pale malts, caramel, bread and a good hoppy touch. Full body and a soft carbonation. Dry. Bread, caramel, pine cones, resins and some citrus peel in the flavor, lasting for a good while. A bit malty for my linings, but sure nice. 150621

Interesting spring and summer beer. Pours a deep ruby red with very little head. Tastes very different from any IPA you've had before. It's been mellowed out and rounded by the grape musts. Refreshing but subtle berry tones with a great IPA. Have it on draft and treat yo'self! - pixels sent via Beer Buddy on iOS

sample at mondial de la bière 2015 - mtl. hazy pink-salmony with a reviving off-white cap, good retention and lacing. raspberries and red grapes, floral - lilac and lavender; astringent bitterness - resin, spicy and peppery maltiness, booze. average carbonation, light body - slightly watery; tannic, boozy and peppery-spicy finish. fair for a must added ipa..

Mondial 2015. Pours a clear red with a small white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of caramel, grapes and earthy hops. Taste is fruity (czar said raspberries and I can concur) and a little sweet (caramel) with a lot less wine character than I expected. Body is light to medium, carbonation moderate and mouthfeel is just slightly vinous. It’s OK I guess but not something I would pick up again.
