Stouts III Tasting. Thanks Jack! Clear red beer, tidy pale pink head! Nose of something candy. Light dry palate. Little lactose and somewhat seltzer minerals. Skewed candy fruits, not that sweet. Bitterish bretty hop. Light fruit. Crisp minerally dry finish. Bitter linger. Highly unusual beer but I would expect no less of this cutting edge brewer.

Medium to high carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has tartish grape, red apple, sweet malts. Good bitterness with a citrussy zest to it.

Bottle from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. Pours "rose" (pronouncing rozay) with a whitish head. Deep inhale provides citrus? hop with some vinosity. Near med body. Flavor is a mix of red wine with some malt and hop that does seem to be citrus. It’s fairly dry, and decently bitter. Rather sophisticated. Damn. Return of the wine snob. I do like it.

Reddish colored pour with a white head. Fruity, sweet nose of grape juice. A bit of citrus, some paper, and grass. Interesting. The flavor isn’t bad. Very fruit forward and sweet. Grape juice, citrus, and maybe some strawberry. The flavor is lightly bitter on the finish. Some pine, a touch of paper, and some malt.
