Glass of liquid rubies poured...grapes and grass aroma with promises of hops. Light for an IPA...not overly hopped...quite crisp...just a whisper of grapes. A little bit if a sticky finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2015 12oz bottle into an English pint. Pours a murky orange amber with some traces of pink highlights, no head. Emphasis on the musty (read: old socks) on the nose, with a bit of apple and grape. Tastes better than it smells, bitter, with some wine sweetness. Not a fan overall.

12 oz bottle pour. This was actually one of the first beers from these guys I ever tried a few years back, and I enjoyed the hell out of it. Pours a pink tinted orange color with an apple grape like aroma. Flavor shadows a sweet wine, with some grape like flavor. Decent hop profile throughout as well, and makes for a very unique brew. Don’t think I’ve ever had another IPA like it. I like this beer overall. I’ll grab one here and there.

Bottle at home. Pours a clear pinkish amber with a small white head. Very bitter with resiny hops aromas. Also aromas of dry white wine and fresh cask wood. Spicy hints. Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Quite bitter finish with more resin and cask wood.

Bottle. Clear amber beer with a large white head. Aroma is fruity with notes of caramel, bread, herbs, hay and vanilla. Flavor is fruity with notes of citrus, caramel, grain and herbs. Well balanced but not super fresh.

Bottle. Heliotrope hue, average white head. Aroma is very soapy with grape undertones. The palate isn’t soapy thankfully, but does have a strong perfumey grape must character with a firm hop presence as well. Sweet but with a bitter finish. Quite nice, interesting.

Poured with HUGE head! Smells like grape juice with slight off smell, taste is mostly a slight sweetness...starts a bit bitter but changes to the slight sweetness relatively quickly, besides the slight grape there isn’t anything special about this beer...decent taste but nothing else stands out..quite carbonated

Drunk from the bottle, so the aroma didn’t really come through, I was expecting more influence from the grape must

Drank from a twelve ounce bottle, Thank you Kevin! Nice beer aroma. Delicious beer taste with a wonderfully complex wine flavor finish.
