Great purple color, nice foamy head. Unfortunately, the sweet aftertaste isnít for me and left me slightly nauseous. Doesnít really work that well, certainly not like the peach one.

Bottle from Bieres Sans Frontieres stand at GBBF 2014, sampled at home. Aroma of grape, some floral notes. Clearly vinous. Clear, cherry red with small, quickly dissipating head. Light sweet followed by light acidity and plenty of bitter hop notes. Light body, thin texture, lively carb, longish acid finish. Strange, but quite enjoyable. Very much like a wine/beer hybrid. Probably wouldnít repeat but Iím glad I tried it, certainly more fun than Founders Rubaeus, for example.

Sampled @ ChrisO after GBBF day 2. Clear medium dark reddish color, small off-white head. Aroma is malts, some hops, lightly butter and I guess a slight hint of grapes. Taste malts, hops, lightly grapes or actually more fruit peel, quite bitter. Medium body, medium carbonation. A bit disappointing.

On draft. Reddish amber pour, almost purple color, with a fizzy off white head. Malty, grape, very mild citrus, & musty. Not that sweet, but overall this beer is not very good.

Pours a clear cherry/grapefruit. Little head, no lacing. Crisp citrus and lemony honey on the nose. Tastes a tad bit tart, with cherries, grapefruit, and hints of straw and lemon. A refreshing summer ale, not too sweet, not too tart or bitter. Just right.

(Bottle) - At first glance when it was pouring out of the bottle the body had an almost purple color to it. However, now that itís in the glass itís a rather orange cherry hue. Small white head on top. Aroma of a soft British hop. Flavors of gooseberries with a hop character that catches up to you on the end. Somewhat unique.

Clear amber red pour with off white head. Aroma of citrus, hops and red grapes. Taste of malts, citrus, red wine in the background, fruity and hops. Medium bodied, perfect carbonation, nicely balanced, slightly dry finish, very refreshing and crisp.

355 ml. bottle poured in to a Flute. Clear, amber colour with a golden-red tint. Fluffy, white head. Fruity aroma with citrus and floral hops, lightly toasted malts, resin, grape juice, caramel and grasses. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes dry with toasted malts and grape juice. Very fresh and enjoyable.
