Great purple color, nice foamy head. Unfortunately, the sweet aftertaste isnít for me and left me slightly nauseous. Doesnít really work that well, certainly not like the peach one.

From the tap it has a amber like color with a nice head. The smell of pine, citrus and lemon zest come from the glass. The taste has a refreshing zing up front. I notice grapefruit, lemons, pine and straw. Slight bitterness on the finish. Great finish.

Bottle. Pours a rather jarring purple-pink with a high, fluffy, pinkish-white head. Nose is -- OK, I used to work in a winery. And after a while, thereís a smell to a wineryís stone floors; spilled wine, yeast, wet stone, an odd cheese element, a little mold, it just sinks into everything and doesnít go away. Itís not a bad smell, but itís very typical. This beer smells like that, with just a faint hint of eau de upchuck. Some hops bitterness up front, along with dirt, red wine, and a more aggressive bitterness on the close. No sweetness at all; no detectable malt. Way out of balance; this is too wack to handle. Finish is spit bucket nasty. No.

Pours a weird dark purple / reddish color. Nose is very fruity. a little fruit, grape, very little bitterness. Almost no bitterness at all. has a leather like quality. some grape jam but seriously just not great.

12oz bottle from Jís Liquors in Owensboro, KY. Poured into a stemmed tulip. Plum red color with a modest rose-pink head that dissipated fairly quickly. Nice carbonation. Nose smells of blueberry, grape, lime. Grape is well-balanced with hops to give a nice flavor. Very refreshing as an after dinner beer. Mouthfeel was very springy like a nice rose wine. Really enjoyed this.

Bottle poured a clear ruby red hue w/ large foamy pink lasting head. Bold musty fruit aromas. Initial flavor is light sour w/ a bold bitter finish. Tastes are red table wine, grass, and lime citrus. Medium bodied and lively carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Candy like, winey aroma with hops. Appearance is cherry color with a white head with poor retention. Flavor is tastes like sweet candy with hops added. Mouthfeel is medium light with medium carbonation. Overall, besides the color the beer is a bust. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle served in a pilsner glass. A thin coat of sediment was lwft stuck to the bottom. Well, the "Syrah grape must" is obvious on pouring as this "India Pale Ale" has an unusual rosy amber color. The head was cent if a bit thin and weak. Spotty lacing. The grape addition is also obvious in the aroma, where the grape must about holds its own with the hops. Grapes and hops blend nicely here, as long as you donít mind that the grapes really tame the hops. Mildly bitter/sweet. O: I quite enjoyed this off-center IPA both times Iíve had it. Be forewarned that the hop level is low: more like that of an Amer. Pale Ale, and the bitterness is low even for that style.
