60 minute with a hint of wine. This will be big as dfh continues to break boundaries and make a new beverage.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear light burgundy pour with a thin white head. You can tell this has the grape content by the color. Taste kind of reminds me of a dry red wine. I always wonder if Sam’s trying to pick up the wine drinkers with this one. If so, why not open a winery? But it is well done...enjoyed it.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a copper color with a very slight purple hue. Little to no head at all. Carbonation bubbles look larger and more soda like but not quite that large. Smells a bit like stale grape juice. Can’t really place anything in the flavor other than some grape. Dry finish.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
From the bottle. Pours a dull dark purple with big pink frothy head. Immediately the nose in vinous, hops, fruit, floral. Very delicate flavors, rose type flavors, with light caramel, floral character comes through again. Seems almost like a watered down sparkling wine. Interesting, but doesn’t do it for me.

Bottle at home. Pours clear amber with purple highlights, a large, frothy off-white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is earthy, pine, and herbal hops, vinous notes, light cracker malt and citrus hops. Flavor is moderate hops and bitterness, light vinous notes, supporting crisp malt, and a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Reddish tan with a hint of purple, light lacy head. Floral aroma with light wine aroma. Flavor: is it wine, is it beer? Who cares. I like it. Grape flavor dominates a bit but still a good balance. If I feel like a beer I would choose something else, if I feel like wine there is a good chance I'll go 61.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
There’s a definite grape overtone and a hoppy undertone that lead to a wonderful flavor blend. It’s easy to drink, could be my favorite IPA, though I’m hard pressed to call it one.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Color is almost a violet copper. Thin head. Some lace. Fruity hop type aroma with berry, fresh grape like woody tannin. Kinda funky but not in a weird off way. Taste is hoppy but equally a tart grape tannin woody with some dryness. Woody tannin with the bitter. Its interesting and pretty good. I like it. Tastey and different.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Slight haze, light red brown, medium to poor head. Sweet berry fruit, malty and a slight pine to citrus lift almost like mandarin or orange. Clean, fruity aroma. Dry, bitter palate with low or no sourness. Palate is medium weight and moderately long. Moderate carbonation with fine bead.
Interesting and funky. Loads of hops but lots of malt and obvious berry flavor.
