Pours pink with a fizzy white head. Nice aroma of stone fruit, cranberries, and grassy hops. Taste of light fruit and citrus. A lot of acidity to cut through food. Seems too might like a wine cooler, could be good with the right food though.

Bottle from Bo Brooks’ Lighthouse Liquors, Baltimore. Deep copper in colour, with next to no head. Unpleasant, sweet, caramel and butter aroma. Flavour, by contrast, was a lot better - an enjoyable vinous edge, still sweetish, crisp malts and a moderately bitter finish. A mixed bag.

355ml bottle as a gift from Virginia:
Bright amber boardering on orange to red with a 0.5cm foamy, white head. Slightly cloudy with little movement throughout. Starts like a typical IPA with citrus & pine with a nice balance & nothing too strong. Some floral notes & sweetness come through next. The grapes start to come early on with various fruits, sweetness & malts following not far behind. The hop bitterness is quite subtle & some wine -like notes round things off. Citrus & pine but it’s lighter than the nose. Some white grapes & a slightly acidic taste that is reminiscent of white wine come next before sweetness & malts come through with hints of tropical fruits as well. Smooth with more carbonation than I was expecting, maybe just past medium with a nice tang to it with hints of spice too. Some sweetness appears with a hint of alcohol towards the end. Quite a good effort from Dogfish Head & on its own a really nice beer but when it follows on from the previous two from the brewery that I’ve tried it has to be said that this one definitely wasn’t their best.

This is a cool, funky beer. Leans more wine than beer (though some IPA comes through). Don't know if I'd buy a six-pack, but I'm glad I had it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Rosey amber with a slightly pinkinsh head. This is some sort of red grapefruit shandy, perhaps? Whatever it is, it’s not very good.

12oz bottle thanks to Eric. Pours out a pinkish amber color topped with a pink head. Nose is berries tart and a nice hop touch. Taste is as the nose with a nice sweet fruit and a tropical fruit.

Pours a deep copper with a violet tint. Minimal off-white head with some lacing. Earthy aroma with some grape notes. The flavor is musty and wine like. Low hop character for an IPA. Light body with a smooth mouthfeel. Sweet fruity finish with a lingering aftertaste.

@ SBWF 2014: söt humlig och med en lite torr smak. Den är helt ok men lite udda. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at SBWF2014. Deep ruby red color, small pinky head. Fruity, maybe a bit lactic nose. Medium-bodied. Berryish, slightly tart flavor. Rasberries?

One of my favorite beers. Very different from the classic 60 minute ipa, but in a good way. Pours purple-ish, nice grape/wine aroma when poured. If you are expecting something like the 60 minute you will be disappointed, but if you are willing to try something else, you will be pleased.

Poured a murky amber colour with hues of red with a small white head. Hoppy aroma with notes of grape. Taste is quite salty with elements of hoppy bitterness and fruits. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Not a great IPA or fruit beer and not the best of what DogFish has to offer.
