Orange-pink pur with a thin white head. Aroma has a lot of grape and yeast. Nice and tart, with a green-grape flavor. Medium carbonation. Lingering grape and tartness into the finish. Really liked this one.

The aroma is like a hybrid wine IPA with malt, hops, and grapes. The appearance is reddish with a fluffy head. The taste is like the aroma with a hoppy finish. The palate is smooth. Overall well made but not really my thing.

On tap - Pours reddish amber with a foamy off-white head. Nose is light sweet grape, yeasty with corn in the back. Tastes like a corny lager with a bit of grape and dusty yeast. Body is medium-thin and well-carbonated. Pretty gross, no hops to speak of, and another DFH beer that sounds better in concept than in execution.

Crystal clear amber with a rose tinge. Smells like an IPA but you can definitely detect the grape/wine scent. Same in the taste, definitely an IPA with something different added that also adds a sweet edge to it. Very interesting twist on the 60 minute IPA.

12 oz from total wine. Pours a clear raspberry color which I was not expecting. Light and refreshing with lots of grape and a dry finish. Touch of pine and grapefruit hops. Subtle on the hops. Lightly sweet. Pretty light and refreshing.

Pours a light raspberry color with little head. Aroma is lots of grape, and some hop character behind it with a bit of breadiness. Flavor is hops with grapes, really very refreshing. Not any kind of gross fruitiness you sometimes get with this "fruit beer" style. Yeasty breadiness lingers on your palate which makes this way better than I was expecting. Itís no 60 or 90 min but itís good.

Pours red with a hint of brown. Head is white and short lasting. Aroma is very hoppy, but has dry, vinous notes and a weak sweetness. Taste is very hoppy as well, but definately have got some wine-grapes to it. Much lighter than i recall he Syrah grape, but the beer of course doesnít have the same alcohol, or the more dense body of a red wine. I donít really think that the grape must improves the taste of the beer, but it is present for sure, and does provide some complexity.

Red with pink glows. Aroma: malty, hops, fresh an winery. Taste and palate: medium body, bitter, wine notes equal to a rosé wine, floral, red fruits and dry at the end. Very nice hybrid.

Bottle. An interesting selection for the folks at Dogfish Head brewing. Not your grandpas IPA. Pours a purplish brown with a nice full purple tinged head. Dissipates with good uniform lacing. Aroma is has a slight Chardonnay undertone to the IPA smell. Sweet grape offsets the normally dry IPA taste. Great change of pace. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
