Thank you Josh for picking me up a bottle of this! 750ml bottle. Poured a medium and clear amber color with a large sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, floral hops, pine, toasty, some woodiness, and lighter caramel. Tastes of citrus, caramel, floral hops, and pine. Nice and hoppy for sure (especially the aromas!). Overall the alcohol content well hidden.

bottle courtesy of joet. very dark, viscous, oily brew. large but soft hop aroma with an essential (hop) oil taste. very smooth for the abv, not much carbonation, seems like an aged iipa. good stuff, dfh keeps it as pungent as ever!

750ml bottle obtained at McKinnon’s in Salem, NH. Pours a red-amber crystal-clear body with a good inch or so of off-white head. Grassy citrussy grapefruit with a good bit of mint and just enough caramel, toffee, and a hint of chocolate malt to balance. Hops definitely dominate toward the beginning, with citrus (grapefruit and lemon), pith, grass, and mint, and a bit of sweet caramel, toffee, chocolate, and coffee, but just enough to balance the beer - definitely very hop-forward, more so than 90-minute IPA. On the fuller side of medium-bodied with moderate to low carbonation, no doubt due to the bottle conditioning. The flavors and moderate mouthfeel make this a much easier drinker than expected. Absolutely stellar in every regard, I fully intend on picking up more should I come across it!

750mL bottle courtesy of MrRetardedMonkey poured into a tulip. Pours a crystal clear deep amber with a big creamy off-white head that shows extremely good staying power as a tight creamy cap. Tons of lacing as well. The aroma is extremely fruity with lots of juicy citrus fruits - oranges, mangos and tangerines. It’s well balanced by a solid caramel malt sweetness. This is my kind of nose as it’s got plenty of hops, but they’re not abrasive at all. The taste also starts with the sweet citrus fruits, but it’s not quite as full as in the aroma. The caramel malts form a solid backbone with a slightly toasted character. The finish is also sweet with very, very little bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied and sticky sweet on the palate with a solid soft carbonation that leads to this one being super smooth going down. I’m a big fan of 90 Minute and this one comes close for me as it’s an exceptionally drinkable DIPA that’s heavy of the juicy citrus and light on the gratuitous bitterness. One of my favorites from DFH.

Bottle from the brew pub. Poured a nice dark orange color with a small off white head. Aroma is of strong hops and some wood. There is also some sweet hops and alcohol on the nose. Taste is strong citrus hops and alcohol. Very nice and drinkable.

Bottle at BCTC. So apparently this is just their 90 minute, but unfiltered. Maybe I need to go try a 90m again, because it’s been a few months since I’ve had one, and I can’t see filtering this making it all that great… and I used to love 90m. Pours a light orange amber with a thin white head. Citrus hops, but nowhere near what I’d expect. Plum and caramel through the body, and finishes with a light grapefruit bitterness. Bit of a let down.

750ml from Whole Foods in Union Square, NYC. Shared with my girlfriend as I get ready to leave NYC for philly. Pours orange with a 3 finger tan head. Nose is very sweet, with lots of floral citrus. Taste is sweet, hoppy, with floral punch. Pretty interesting overall. Can’t tell if this is as good as fresh 90 minute but its good.
