3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml bottle, thanks to KHill. First off, I am a BIG fan of Rogues Gallery. They are one badass design/apparel company. If you wear their clothes you will attract women. It shocked me that they got to collab and design the label for DFH, but Rogues Gallery is SO Fíng cool that Iím more impressed that Sam is hip to them. So about the beer - the body is a slightly cloudy and orangey amber color, with a medium tall thick creamy medium tan head. the aroma is floral and citrusy pine hop, caramel malt, and a little yeasty. Flavor is more yeasty, earthy dry pale malts, and floral citrusy hops. In the middle the caramel malt flavors kick in, to finish with a slightly spicy and sweet pine resin aftertaste.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Perfect caramel color with our white topping. Medium hop smell with Orange bread booted. Strong upfront taste with lasting finish. Great sipping strong ipa.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Aroma is spices, pine and complex malts. The flavor is citrus, earthy, spices, malts and a bitter/slightly dry finish. Like a very high alcohol American Pale Ale, the bottle conditioning made this very smooth.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Beer and Smoke, Brooklyn bottle: pours deep copper with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruit and a hefty bit of hops. Taste is lightly sweet. Not too bitter. Not my favorite.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a ever so slightly hazy copper color with a pillowy, white head that stays forever. Generous lacing. Nose is hay and grass with citrus notes and a hint of biscuit. Taste is bitter upfront, but the malt comes through in the mid-palate nicely. Slightly oily mouthfeel, boozy warmth, long hop finish. Excellent brew.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Hops & Pie. Clear orange appearance with a lacy white head. Aroma of pine, floral notes and resinous hops. Similar flavor, hop-forward, pretty standard, straight up DIPA here.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a slightly hazy, amber-yellow, with middling head. Aroma is very grassy, with some citrus and herbal elements as well. Flavor is rather sharp. Lots of hop bite, some citrus, some spruce, a touch of nuttiness, some breadiness. Alcohol content is well hidden--you can tell itís there, but not really taste it. The booziness present in so many of these hop bombs isnít a factor. Pretty good, all in all.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber - pours a clear brilliant golden orange with a thick, fluffy off white head. The aroma reminds me more of an English IPA with hops and malt coming thru. Nice fruity hop flavor blends well with the light caramel and fruity malts. A little boozy. Not bad, different

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
It pours gold with an off white head. This is a bit hazy overall. There are aromas of pine, floral, pineapple, and some bread. There is an initial sweet flavor with citrus, floral, pineapple, pine, and bread. It is moderately bitter, with a moderate body and some alcohol warming. Overall for the ABV it is a fairly easy drinking hop driven IPA.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (herbs, flowers), with light notes of black tea, graham cracker, scorched honey, lemon zest. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety/watery texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic.
Pretty good flavor balance and mouthfeel for the style, but the aroma is meek and somewhat odd (but thankfully not the usual raw/green hop bomb that most in this style are). Ok but not terribly enjoyable.
