Hazy dark golden to copper color, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy, citrus scent. Sweet, caramel, cream, bitter taste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, some glue aftertaste. Rather high bitterness.

In short: A herbal and smooth IIPA. Very good and too easy to drink.
How: Bottles 750ml, many times. Fresh and a few months of age.
The look: Almost clear golden body topped by a medium beige head
In long: Nose of grassy, pine-tree and herbal hops with some dried fruits. Round body with a carbonation that is a bit too soft for the style. Taste is very herbal (kind of green-tea and basil), orange peels, caramel, floury cookies, commercial cheddar cheese, a mix-bag of dried fruits, dry grass, pine-tree. Finish is a moderately dry (dry grass) and with a fruity and pine-tree bitterness of medium intensity. I’ve downed a few too many 750ml of this brew over the past few months, this is my last bottle and I’m already missing this beer. This beer is supposed to be the unfiltered Dogfish 90 Minutes. It is not as good as the 90 Minutes but it is also very different and I enjoy it for what it is, a very good IPA that is very different from the 90 Minutes. What a difference filtration makes. I know, I have tried to re-drink my favourite beers after my kidneys filtration and it just doesn’t taste the same.

not sure if the aroma was off due to an odd bottle, but it seemed to have something chemical like going on. The appearance was cloudy amber with nice deep hop notes. The finish was bitter and dry and had a long time in the finish.

Interesting brew. Complex nose hints at various reminiscences, from body odor to fresh rubber. Finish is slightly sweeter than necessary, especially for a supposed IPA. Becomes more settled and blended as it attenuates in the glass. Not bad, but nothing genuinely good, either.

Clear amber color/ frothy beige head. Nice floral, spicy hop, earthy yeast aromas. Medium body with a velvety smooth mouthfeel. Big spicy floral pine hop, yeasty nutty flavors on a solid caramel malty base. very good.

750mL shared. Pours a clear (?) light amber sort of orange with a thick, yellow head that has good retention and some spotty lacing. Aroma is a bit off: chemicals, big kumquat, spices, Cointreau. Taste is like I just ingested some Bath and Body Works Satsuma air freshener. Somehow this beer is a bit cloying though it has some intense bitterness and perfume qualities. Wasn’t stale: no nutty spiciness and strawberry cheesecake. Just chemicals, kumquats, cloying, and satsuma air freshener. Vomit.

Bottle at Chriso’s Kook Tasting 09. Thanks Chris. Lovely aroma. Gold colour, amber, slight haze. Lasting beige head. Too sweet in the mouth. The finish is not hoppy and not bitter enough for me. Too sweet overall.
