This is a default message... As I do not wish, nor have time to comment on each beer I try at this time.

2.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 HoppyBrewnette (5) - - APR 27, 2013 does not count
Strong alcohol aroma and initial taste. This is not as apparent once the beer warms up a bit. Then moves to a dark chocolate and chili powder end am finish. Heat lingers in your throat. States honey, but I state more caramel

Caramel, toffee, cocoa, vanilla, and nutty aromas. Clear orange-gold with a moderately lasting, white head. Sweet, nutty malts, and some chili spice. Light-medium body, average carbonation, and finishes with a lingering spiciness.

Dark malty dry grapey nutty scent. Golden orange body. Dry roasty malt, with spicy grape finish. Dry and doughy on the palate. Ok

Honey aroma. Strong chocolate nibs, heat of chilies, honey taste. Kind of gimmicky but one of my very top picks.

Bottle. This is another beer that is out there but within the range of palatability.

Bottled @ Oliver Twist, 4/4-13.
Slight hazy orange amber. White head disappered without a trace.
Citrussy aroma with spicy heat, some fruit juice, honey and butterscotch/chocolate fudge. Sweet goes dry and slight acidic.
Sweet with honey, some butterscotch, orange peel and some mildly burning chili.
Medium to bigger body with soft tickling carbonation.
It started out as a winner but then slowly turned a bit messy. It doesn’t stretch enough and the flavours doesn’t hold together well in the end.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 BeerFlavoredBeer (224) - New Hampshire, USA - APR 4, 2013
The chilies are there, but muted. This one won’t invoke the heartburn that Rogue’s Chipotle does, thank god. Very nice golden orange color in the glass. Earthy aroma with vanilla notes, honey, dry cocoa. Flavor follows. A lot of stuff going on with this beer. Warming, sweet, earthy, some spice to it, more honey and dry cocoa powder. Very interesting, if a little too sweet after a glass or two. Definitely another bizarre, drinkable, but ultimately polarizing DFH creation. That’s why I love them.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ktwse (706) - SWEDEN - APR 4, 2013
Pours hazy orange amber with low white head. Aroma of honey and light chocolate. Fairly non-descript sweetish taste with hints of chocolate and chili in the finish. Body is very light with low carbonation.

Quite stale and yeasty. Might be a bad bottle actually. Slight tones of milk chocolate and vanilla. Somewhat disappointed.
