Poured from a bottle, nice color and appearance and the aroma is nice. The taste isn’t what I was expecting but not terrible.

My wife and I picked up a bottle of this in a roll your own six pack at Whole Foods. I picked it out because it said strawberry. It has a faint fruity smell, but tastes and feels like a wine cooler. It’s much more bitter than it needs to be. I couldn’t finish mine.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle. Pours a clear reddish, amber color with a one finger, very fizzy and quickly dissipating head. A faint fruity smell with not much else. Very light flavor, faint strawberry, a little bit of grain but not much else. The strawberry seems to come through more in the finish. Light bodied with some lively carbonation.

This Dogfish Head beer has Sam written all over it. Seems like he was cooking up a beer and threw some strawberries and honey in the batch. The beer has a pleasant aroma with hints of the berries. Very clear with some head. You can get a taste of the sweetness from the honey and the strawberries at the back of your mouth. It does have a little bit of an after taste. Almost like drinking a lambic beer. If you like Dogfish Head beers. Give it a try.

Pours a rich brown. Notes of fruit, spice, bread and honey. Has a somewhat strange aftertaste. Not great.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Definite strawberry aromas that dominate the nose almost completely. I'm a little disheartened to see sugar strawberries and honey in the ingredients. It's kitschy but not a great beer

On tap...Blackthorn Pub, Holly,MI...Beautiful deep garnet color with absolutely no head this has huge red ripe fruit flavor with a slightly sour background and nice bitter finish. Very refreshing and drinkable; a uniquely satisfying brew that’d I’d like to drink more of. Outstanding...

Has a strong strawberry and honey taste, but surprisingly is not sweet. Has a dry, syrupy feel that reminds me of the Immort Ale. Feels fizzy on the tongue. Despite the strangeness, it is still enjoyable, though not for everyone. For me it’s the strawberry that helps lift it.
