Tap. Pours hazy amber with just a trace of fizzy white head around the rim. Aroma is caramel and cereal malts, light toast, light dates, some herbs, and light grass. Flavor is dry, bready malts forward with light fruit esters, orange peel, mixed herbs, grassy hops, and light lemon; dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

Tap at Max’s Taphouse. Pours hazy orange with a medium, creamy white head, medium retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is farmhouse and horse blanket yeast notes with light citrus hops, cereal and biscuit malt with apple esters. Flavor is Belgian yeast dominant with light hops and bitterness, moderate fruity esters, supporting malt and a dry finish. Medium body and heavy carbonation.

On tap at the Night of the Funk 2012. I quite liked this one. Juicy fruit character with earthy farmy brett leaving a dry crisp finish. Great funk, and great fruit.

One of my favorite beers at Night of the Funk, courtesy of oteyj, thank you sir! Cloudy yellow color, small white head. Aroma of bretty dustiness and dirty attic. Taste is dusty and funky straw and old bread. Very nice.

At FWIBF, cloudy and orangish gold pour, Some tart, funk And spiciness, it has a good sour bite and was really good. I would love the opportunity to try more of this. I backed into a second try that was tapped at the end of the event. Good stuff.

Hazy goldish pour, light head. Aroma is spicy, tart, yeasty, funk, horse blanket, hay, vinous notes. Nice and sour on the tongue but crisp and refreshing. I tasted a nice tartness from the red wine barrels and the yeast and brett send this in a good funky direction. Nice offering at the FW festival.

Draft at the Firestone-Walker beer fest. Hazy yellowish orange color with a one finger white head. Decent aroma with a mild yeasty tartness and funk, but still some residual sugars as DFH tends to have. Cardamom, orange, and lemon. Medium body with a somewhat syrupy mouthfeel. OK beer, but a bit overspiced.
