3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
And this thus finishes the cycle. This is my final of the 3 saison du buff. This one pours a hazy golden color with a large foamy white head. I smell pine trees, bit of pepper, bit of mint, and some thyme. Taste is a bit sweet at first with the pine tree taste coming next. I finally taste a little mint and maybe a bit of pepper. This one doesnít taste as spicy and peppery as the other two. I think i like this one the best due to this fact.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle sampled next to the other 2 BUFFs. pours similar to Stoneís, hazy golden big fluffy head. nose has honey, spices (all are there but rosemary seems the most noticible to me). flavors have sweet honey, spices, peppery yeast finish. this is a little more mellow and drinkable than Stoneís but still way too heavy on the spices.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle served in a tulip. Pour is cloudy, dark urine with three fingers of fluffy white head; this brew also left a really nice show of lacing. Nose is hops, grass, lemons, yeast, and cellar; this is probably my favorite part of the beer. Taste is immediately sweet & bitter hops. Lemon, yeast, and grass (almost like a wit) then jump into the palate. This is finished by a very hoppy bitter finish that is infused with coriander. It is also a pretty highly carbonated beer with lots of little bubbles that tingle the tongue while sampling. This is a very strange brew which I am glad I got to try, but I am not crazy about it. I would enjoy this much more, but the finish kind of kills it for me with the bitter coriander/hop punch. All in all, still not a terrible brew.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very large bright white head of fluffy bubbles and excellent carbonation. Leaves a thick sticky sheet of lacing and a rocky top. Citrusy aroma with some lemon, spices, fresh cut grass, some pineapple and a hint of cat urine. Color is a slightly hazy gold. Light and rather thin body with more fruit and plenty of zest. Pineapples and pears up front and a little bit of spice late swallow. Light alcohol presence. A pretty good and rather refreshing beer.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Beautiful aroma of ginger and the spiciness of the herbs. Cola notes and light lemon. Flavors are wonderfully distinct, each herb leaves its own impression. Light yeast notes shine through as the beer warms. Always nice to experience unique beers that arenít hop and malt bombs

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Nice clear light yellow color. Fizzy white foam rings the glass. Copious amounts of sticky lacing left behind. Very nice looking beer.
Aroma is herbs & spices, with just a hint of yeasty funk but nothing overwhelming. Taste is much stronger - sage/thyme/rosemary herb flavors really come through.
Maybe a bit too fizzy and overcarbonated, but still pleasant to drink.
Tasty brew and something iíd most likely drink again.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
[2 bottles, 2 different tastes] Pours a clear glowing straw golden with a huge fluffy frothy foamy white head. Aroma is bright distinct spices, I can easily pick out sage, parsley and thyme, and Iím sure the rosemary is in there, smells dry, just a bit doughy, clean saison yeast, lemon but doesnít seem quite as much as the Stone bottling, anyone have any marinara sauce for dipping? Flavor follows, strong spicing mixed with some biscuit maltiness and seemingly strong noble hops with lingering bitterness, thyme and yeast, the rosemary is nice in the finish, clean but not as citrusy and lemony as the Stone bottling, seems more bland and the spices are strong and just there. Med//light bodied, fluffy larger carbonation.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle pours a lightly hazy, golden yellow with a frothy, white head. Nose surprises you with how much rosemary there is, the sage is also way out front along with an herbaceous citrus note thatís probably a cross between the parsley and the hops. The herbal aroma is the entire nose, and itís so fresh smelling that you donít know how they did it. Iím not even sure how to rate the nose because it doesnít even smell like beer, it smells like the herb garden out back. Flavor is sweet, sugary, Belgian candy sugars, herbs, sage is the biggest here, very light citrus. It tastes like a rosemary shortbread cookie. Buttery. Medium bodied, lightly bitter, lightly medicinal on the end. Itís good, I can say that definitely, but itís very strange.
