Pours pale gold into a tulip. Bright conglomerate white head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing to coat surface. Summer flower and spice with a hint of lemon aromas. Crisp with upfront sweet honey turning to rosemary in the lasting bitter saaz-like finish.

On tap at Dogfish Head, Falls Church. Hazy gold, white head. Aroma is super hoppy: white grapes and apricots. Flavor is hoppy grassy, light fruits, finishes with almost an oregano taste. Interesting.

I’m giving this beer a 3.7 because it’s a well crafted brew, and deserves a good mark, but I did not enjoy this beer all that much, it just wasn’t my thing. That being said, I went out and bought another one, because i’m sure it will make a great marinade for a roast.
Pours a off golden colour with a short lived head. The aroma reminds me of a properly seasoned roast cooking in the oven, it is a pungent aroma of parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. The flavour starts out lemony, ends lemony, and all through out the middle is herbs. Think it would probably go along great with certain meals, like maybe some fried cod and chips or something, but by itself it was just too much of a departure from what I generally drink.

When I opened it, wow was my first thought. Just a tremendous aroma of the spices but what really came to mind was rye bread. The pour was a yellowish with a big lacing frothy head. The taste was the spices and ultimately the rye bread. Great lingering after taste. I loved it.

On tap at city beer. Pours golden with slight orange. White head clings to the glass and collars the beer. Spices are overwhelming on the nose but blend nicely. Well rounded mouthfeel with yeast and coating. The thyme stands out from the other flavors and leaves a nice long finish.

POurs clear gold with medium white head. Aroma is citrus, yeast, florals and spices. Taste is sweet and spicey on the the finish. Light mouthfeel with good carbonation makes this easy to drink. Solid.

12oz bottle. great looking hazy gold with lots of fast moving, carbonation bubbles under a large, fluffy, white head. aroma is fresh flowers with a touch of herbs but mostly just pleasantly hoppy. flavors of minty herbs, bitter floral hops. one of the herbs (sage maybe) leaves a fresh, toothpaste-like, aftertaste. palate is lively and crisp. very refreshing if you like herbal stuff.

i was very excited about this beer. 12oz bottle poured yellowish sparkling gold. Smells of rosemary, pine, and sage. Very Herbal with a heavy parsely and rosemary taste. Clean finsh hides alcohol very well. thin feel, light body, dispite everything thats going on inside this beer. Amazing if you like herbs. Might try cooking with it if i dont drink it all

12 oz bottle from a 4pack purchased at BuyRite Silverton. Pours a clear thin looking light gold body with an average sized slightly foamy bright white head. Aroma is loaded with herbs, the thyme and rosemary are really coming through on this one along with some parsley and grains followed up by a touch of yeast. The body is fuller then expected and finishes very dry along with tons of bubbly carbonation. Flavor of grain, lemons, yeast, herbs. Sorry Sam but Stone did this better.
