Crisp, Aromas of yeast and light fruit and lime citrus. A tinge of green in the color from the herbs. Sweet with a bitter finish. Tastes of lime, herbs, it’s yeasty with light spice.

bottle - Pours hazy gold with a lingering white head. It smells of herbals, especially sage, yeast, and some fruity notes. The flavor is moderately bitter and herbal with a pleasant fruity character. It has a medium body and a dry finish. Really tasty.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a decent white head. Aroma of citrus and spice. Taste is lemon, banana, spices, and malt. A bit different, but still enjoyable.

Bottle. The pour is very light. The aroma certainly is full of spice. The taste is an interesting blend. Better than I was expecting, good.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Sendiks in Brookfield. Super pale yellow/orange with a foamy white head. Lotta lace, but it was foamy. Aroma has many tangy spices, including cardamon. Taste has sweet fruit, spices, some sage, some cardamon. Some biscuity malt, but tanginess from the spices trump all. Light to medium bodied and tangy. Finishes sweetly spicy with some length. 3 Shrug? Nice for a summer day, I’d wager. Interesting. 13.1

Very green tasting. As in not young but as in herbal. Which is probably the hoped for idea for this beer. Yet I did not like it so much. Would not be a beer you'd want more than 6 oz pet sitting of. I want to say the straight saison du buff of another version I had in the past was very good but I don't remember the greenery in that one.

A different Saison indeed. Very spicy and peppery with what might be confused for a good hopping profile as well. Not bitter. Finishes dry and mild. Not great but not bad.

Pretty light gold with white head. Lemon citrus, biscuit, sweetness in back. The special herbs mainly show up in the finish and are fine. Pepper saison yeast. Fairly drinkable.

straw yellow, hazy, 1cm eggshell head, medium-fine, moderate-fast rate of decay. Aroma is semi-seet lactic tartness, not exactly pleasant. herbs. Body is light-medium-light, oily-watery. moderate carbonation, slightly prickly. Flavor is also semi-sweet tart, herbal, slightly medicinal, slight bitterness to finish that lingers a little.
