World Wide Stout is one of the world’s strongest dark beers. It is brewed using six different yeast strains over seven months and then aged for half a year. Dark, rich, roasty, and complex, World Wide Stout has more in common with a fine port than a can of cheap, mass-marketed beer (released in early winter with very limited availability).

Dégusté avec Pyrozoid et Agaguk. Let’s get ready to rumble!

Suprisingly bright looking for the style, close to black with a light brown head that basically just says FFFFff then goodbye leaving some legs. Aroma is more fruity and less roasted then expected, very inviting though. Taste is similar with a very well integrated alcohol flavour that warms the belly. Nice growing aftertaste with allot of vinous berry notes and dark chocolate.

Bottle. Poured solid black almost no head. Aroma is of barley, molasses, dark fruit, and alcohol. Flavor is very sweet. Lots of yeast, malt, alcohol, and raisin. Very port like. Full bodied and extremely complex. Finish is quite sweet. Excellent!

Pours black with a little bit of light getting through, there is a nice light brown head. Very vinous aroma with a burst of alcohol and sweet malt. The beer engulfs the whole mouth with extraordinary maltiness. Surprisingly hidden alcohol.

After the debackle that was the 120 min IPA, i was worried that the same alcohol presence would dominate. Instead it is a good sipping beer with excellent molasses, licorice, coffee, and roasted flavors. I enjoyed it more than expected.

12 oz bottle via trade with daknole. Pours a jet black with a small beige head that quickly dissipated. The aroma is big and bold with lots of sweet, ripe dark fruits, roasted barley, molasses and a bit of alcohol. The flavor, like the aroma, is also big and bold, and similarly sweet ripe dark fruits are center stage followed by alcohol and finished by roasted malts. The mouthfeel is full and silky smooth. The finish is long and dry. Overall: A very tasty sipping stout. The alcohol was a bit distracting at times, but I still really thoroughly enjoyed this. Thanks dakine.
