egajdzis (3022), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 21, 2003 Updated: Dec 28, 2003 This is the 21% courtesy of Jcalabre. Pours an opaque black color with a nice tan head and lacing. Aroma of roasted chocolate and barley. Awesome creamy start with an awesome dry finish full of roasted malts and chocolate. Alcohol was very well covered, considering it was 21%. Out of 2003's versions (18.8 and 21) this is my favorite. I tasted the 18.8, 21 and 23 tonight and this was by far my favorite, and perfectly drinkable. Matter of fact, everyone I was with tonight, enjoyed this the most as well! On the top 50, this should be higher.
beergod! (52), Houston, Texas, USA Sep 22, 2008 This beer is all killer no filler! The stout pours a black in color with a brown head. The nose is of a slight sweet caramel and glue, or some kind of cleaner. Taste is smokey, sweet, and slightly medicinal. All in All this beer is awesome!!!! Hophead22 (265), Redlands, California, USA Jul 10, 2008 Wow, this is good. Dark fruits are all over the place in this one. Super dark, super flavor. The dog, again, liked ths one. Not overwhelming in the least. wetherel (1067), Carlsbad, California, USA May 25, 2008 Tried from bottle with Atlanta ratebeer crew at 5 Seasons North tasting. Lots of smokey oxidation of the good kind (no cardboard). Sweet malty. Caramel and molasses flavors abound. Dark color (of course). Mellowed and easy to drink. Delicious. Cocacola like aroma notes. The best WWS I’ve ever had. Excellent. kp (6300), Woodstock, Georgia, USA May 25, 2008 Date: 05/22/2008

Flavor is thick malty, molasses, caramel, brown sugar, and a sweet molasses finish. Hides the alcohol incredibly well.
