Bottle 750ml. @ PBF 2011

ABV: 6.3%. Clear medium to dark amber orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, light smoke, light rubber - plastic, light plantains and carob. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, smoke, strange maybe the plantains and carob ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110701]

Bottled (thanks thomassova4!). Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is wood, some mild fruity and mild brady notes. Flavour is sweet malts, mild leathery notes. Also some quite nutty notes once it warms up.

(750ml bottle, courtesy of JJFoodie) Pours a clear copper body with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, evergreen, nuts, herbs, and earth. Flavor of banana, caramel, nuts, baking cocoa, and subtle smoke with a somewhat dry finish.

Deep amber color, small white head. Light sweetish, bready, maybe slightly herbal aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweet, pumpkin, a bit herbal, Lingering herbal flavors. Odd .. like some pumpkin beer.

Clear dark amber beer. Small off white head. Light semi crisp palate. Typical Dogfish Head left field. Sweetish malt and a plantain vegetal edge morphing into bubblegum sweetness. Riding alongside all of this is smoky malt. Any carob is subtle and on the back of the tongue. Sweet! Different! Dogfish Head!

Bottle at DFH Rehoboth Beach, courtesy of tarheels86 - thanks! Dark amber color, large tan head with great retention. Aroma of fried plantains, but I wouldn’t have guessed that if I hadn’t read the description. Taste is caramel, chocolate cream pie, scotch. Interesting.

750ml bottle shared thanks to Eric. Poured a medium and clear orangish/copper color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of nuts, some smokiness, and some fruitiness (bananas). Tastes of the same lighter smokiness, bananas, nuts, and caramel.

Bottle thanks to jjfoodie. Pours with an amber body with an off-white ring. Aroma of smoke, pecan and caramel. Taste is leather, smokey, wood, caramel and pecan. Lively bubbles. and dry.

Brown pour. Sweet aroma with wood, booze, brown sugar. Flavor has some good wood, light smoke, malty sweetness.

Peachy-raspberry coloured body, minimal head.Smoke in the aroma. Sweetish smoke flavour,minimal wood taste, lght and easy brown ale. Decent mouthfeel, good drinkability. Pecan in aftertaste.Liam’s bottle.
