Bottle and draft in Dougo. Golden orange pour with long lasting white head. Grass, fruit and light spice. Strong initial carbonation but light, watery body. Nice chilled. Especially after a hot bath.

Dogo Botchan Kölsch on tap at their restaurant in front of Dogo onsen. A nice looking opaque gold with a solid creamy head of white foam & excellent lacing. Sweet, grainy bready & lightly fruity aroma. Soft round carbonation & a crisp dry finish. The taste is earthy, light malts with a bit of a tang. Pretty good cold but I suspect it would fall apart as it warms up. I better drink fast and not let that happen. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at the brewpub. Notes of pine and fruit in the nose, pretty carbonated. Really quite crisp and fresh, but with enough taste to be memorable. Not bad after a hot bath.

Draft at the brewpub. Hazy golden with a small offwhite head. Faintly fruity aroma. Good bitterness from fruity and grassy hops. well-carbonated, but a bit hard. Quite refreshing after a hot bath.

Medium creamy offwhite lasting head. Hazy orange body with carbonation. Light spicy mealy aroma. Slightly acidic spicy and citric taste with perfumy coriander notes. Soft and smooth mouthfeel, despite some initial carbonation in the mouth. An excellent lager. (0.4l on tap.)
