COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dogwood Pale Ale is an English-style pale ale, well attenuated with fruity, estery overtones. A blending of three hop varieties in three separate additions provides a clean bitterness. Whole leaf Cascade hops are added directly into the fermentation tank called "dry-hopping" in order to achieve a floral aroma. It is naturally carbonated for a smooth finish.

Well, that explains it. It’s an English Pale. I didn’t know that. Malts over-ride the hops in the flavor and aroma. Unusual for a pale. The more I drank, the better it tasted, but I can’t say I got to the point where I really enjoyed this brew. That’s too bad. I rather enjoyed their bock.

This is a completely decent pale, but I'm just generally unimpressed. Everything about it was kind of lackluster. Decent appearance with golden body and nice white head. Both the aroma and the flavor featured good hoppy notes, but just not enough aroma and flavor to satisfy me. Also, I may be crazy, but I noticed what seemed to be notes of grape flavor (?), which I thought was interesting, but not desirable. Overall, this is a fine pale ale, but there are others that I would much rather drink.

Beer has a slight red appearance. Slight lacing. Taste is lacking due to a definte hoppy taste but not any other flavors. Overall impression isnt good due to it is bland for a pale ale.

On tap at Summits wayside Tavern-POured nicely golden with a neat head seated atop...Nose was slightly floral with some hops..Taste was very sour...perhaps the lines were dirty but not usually the case here...maybe I just don't like it

Not only this beer but all the Dogwood beers are over hopped and over carbonated. Maybe not overhopped just not hopped properly Very acetic and harsh. There is such a thing as bad head.

Well, this tastes like old flat soda but it was pretty old when we bought it. The flavor wasnt that bad for being so old though. looked like iced tea or something, but still had a little bit of head. lots of hops in the aroma and we got about half of em in the taste. smelled kinda skunked but didnt taste skunked, so thjat was good. wish we coulda had this when good ole dogwood was still around...

Murky amber brew. This brew is way past it’s time.No aroma at all and a barely noticable flavor that just is not good.I have liked this ccompany’s brews so this must be old.
