3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a light yellow with a nice bubble stream. Nose is of apple must and not much else but this was served ice cold so maybe I’m missing something. Taste is lightly sweet and offer clean ripe apples. Body is light to medium and carbonation prickly. Juicy. Good!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Couleur or pâle, notes en nez de pommes et de champagne, ainsi qu’un peu de boisé. En bouche, le cidre est sec, très bien balancé, pas trop sucré. Un très bon produit.

>> Pours clear white grape juice with fizzing out soda foam. Nose is sweet apple pie, phenolic, spiced apple. Taste is sweet, juicy, mild tannin, white wine. Overall fairly sweet, one-note. But solid. More American in feel than French.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours very clear blond. Small gusher at opening. Aroma is of apples, bretts (or wood?), sugar, funk. Taste is of bretts (or wood?), apples, sugar, fruits. Palate: Medium body. High carbonation. Good balance. Overall: Very nice funkyness, but all in all a tad too sweet for sure. Not too drinkable: would gain to me more dry. Nice drink for sure!

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle into a cider/wine glass. Pours a clean gold with no head, very light carb. Like a dark white wine. Aroma is slightly funky with fresh apple and lightly sugary. Taste is crisp and tart, like biting into a fresh crisp granny smith, though not THAT tart. Very well balanced. Incredibly crsip and refreshing.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
pours clear very pale straw, some medium-sized bubbles surfacing. lightly dusty and lemony, nice woodsy notes, fresh apples, mostly red ones, some sweetness - tad too much - and a very hint of acidity. hint of green ones and soap. very soft carbonation, light body - oily - enjoyable mouthfeel if not the remaining sweetness. nice norman-style large public offering. enjoyable.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a very pale yellow color, the rise and fall of the head is pretty much just like that of Champagne, the tiny bubbles in the glass are numerous.
Wow the aroma is sure inviting, oaky, a little corky, not overly sweet smelling at all, but certainly it has some nice apple character. There is an earthy character to the aroma, I hesitate to call it "funky" because this is far from a barn-yardy or brettanomyces type of funk, but it’s not exactly far off. Light floral notes blend well with the whole character of the cider.
The flavor is largely dry with a bit of fruit sweetness sneaking in. The cider is tart & oaky with just the right appely and white grapey acidity. Lightly earthy this ciders character leans more towards a well balanced Gueuze than any of the French ciders that I also love, but is no where near as sour or outright funky as a Basque Sidra. Overall it hits all the right spots for a great cider.
The cider is about finesse, balance, & subtlety. It is delicious and I’ve known where to buy a bottle for close to a year now, scrolled past, and let it sit on the shelf... and why? Because it comes in a clear glass bottle, fool that I was.
