Draught at the brauhaus
Muddy amber color; generous compact head. The malt and hop aroma is wonderful, crispy, biscuity, with a lot of noble hops. The body is less strong than expected, and there is too much carbonation to impact the mouthfeel; some cereals and malt flavor, but too dry, also because of a strong yeast presence and an almost excessive bitterness; actually it’s served too cold, so after dispersing some carbonation and warming it, a better caramel flavor appears, also shielding somehow the yeast and bitterness. Quite good.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a hazy amber with a dense and lively off-white head. Sweet malty and caramellish nose. Medium body, great malts and caramel with a very hoppy finish. Very German and very well made. 241010

Growler, courtesy of fiulijn. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity and roasted malty, light breadish. Sweet malty and breadish. Slight caramelish and subdued fruity. Bitter and grassy finish.

Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt , caramel, and alcohol, leading to a dry finish.

Light unclear medium orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, caramel, fruity, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101024]

Malzig herbes, im Mittelteil angenehm süßes Bier. Mit der Zeit malziger werdend, wenig muffig. Geringer Hopfen, darin eine starke Bitterkeit. 11/10/9/10//10

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a clear orange golden color with a small longlasting off-white head. Has a fruity grainy malty aroma with some hints of caramel. Sweetish malty grainy flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a sweetish malty grainy finish.

hazy orange, large smooth offwhite head. mild smooth aroma, very faint spicy flavor is faint spicy, faint caramelly, a little oxidized.

Draught at the brewpub. Not much aroma, perhaps a bit fruity. Hazy dark amber colour. Good stable off-white head. The flavour is fruity and caramelly, not an outstanding combination, but OK. Medium bitterness and a faint hint of stable in the finish.

Bottle at Papsø. Cloudy orange coloured with a huge off-white head. Malty aroma of caramel with notes of hay. Malty flavour of caramel with notes of hops. Hoppy finish.
