Hell herber Antrunk, mild, gering süß, frisch. Angenehme Herbe, im Abgang etwas trocken. OK aber bei Weitem nichts Besonderes. 8/9/10/9//8

Dogbrick (7875) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 30, 2011
On draught at the brewpub. This beer is a clear orange color with a thin off-white head that dissipates to a wispy film. Sticky jagged rings of lacing. The aroma is toasty malt and mild hops. Light body with flavors of bready malt, lightly spicy hops and a bit of fruit. The finish is malty with a lingering sweetness left behind. Decent overall.

UPDATED: JUN 8, 2011 2011-05-18, draught at the bräuhaus, 7-5-6-3-12=33
Amber color with beautiful creamy head. Aroma of malt and cereals, with light chocolate aroma, lightly dusty. Dry mouthfeel, the malt and caramel flavor are mild, while the dust character is too evident; correct bitterness. Ain’t no Helles.

2011-03-28, draught at the bräuhaus, 6-4-6-3-11=30
Hazy copper-amber color; medium-sized creamy head. The aroma is mild: bread, biscuity malts and kitchen rinsing water. Some dry malt and caramel flavor, correct bitterness. Drinkable but nothing special.

2010-12-08, draught at the bräuhaus, 6-4-6-3-12=31
Cloudy copper color; creamy head. Mild aroma of malt and straws. The mouthfeel is quite smooth, even if it’s a bit too much carbonated; there is some unexciting malt flavor, quite dry, with a light biscuity trace, and a rustic strong bitterness, quite rough in the end. Average.

2010-07-20, draught at the bräuhaus, 7-4-5-3-11=30
Hazy copper color. The aroma is light, but with some decent biscuity malt and hop. Dry mouthfeel, lean body; very light malt flavor; strong bitterness. Unimpressive.

MiP (13573) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 20, 2009
Draught at the brewpub. Quite malty aroma, spicy hoppiness. Clear amber colour. Stable off-white head. The flavour is nicely malty, some semi-dark malts. OK mild spiciness from the hops. Medium bitterness. Too high carbonation, tastes CO2. This could easily pass for a Dunkel in other brewpubs.

MoritzF (8447) - Bochum, GERMANY - NOV 19, 2008
(special-shaped 50cl swing top bottle, with thanks to winemaker Heiner Sauer) Hazy, amber colour with a thick beige foamy head. Moderately sweet and slightly yeasty cara-malty aroma with notes of toffee, subtle hints of citrus and nettle-like hops. Bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft and well-matured carbonation. Cara-malty base, slightly nutty taste with notes of toffee and herbal hops; well-balanced malty sweet and hop bitter finish with a nutty aftertaste. Absolutely balanced, clean and moreish brew (19.XI.08).
