2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 fiulijn (12179) - Malmö, DENMARK - MAY 11, 2011
Draught at the bräuhaus Cloudy orange-amber color. Strange and light orange aroma. Also the flavor is strange, it reminds me of orange cookies; the mouthfeel is quite round. The bitterness is very low, and the final is also a bit lemony. Weird.

4.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 aracauna (2855) - Georgia, USA - NOV 29, 2003
Got my taste of this thanks to MRomero548. This is an amazing beer. I'd love to get the chance to taste it side by side with Schneider Weisse. I'm thinking this beer would win. Too bad, this is likely my only chance to taste it unless I go to Germany. Like Schneider, it's on the dark side of style, yellowing, cloudy, caramel chew color. The head is nice. BIG aroma. Plenty of banana, just enough clove to balance, a little bit of other spiciness going on underneath. In the back of the flavor, the wheat comes out from under the banana and cloves to give what is otherwise a soft beer a fairly crisp finish. Still, the flavor comes short of the aroma's promise. Excellent hefeweizen.

Draught at the brewery: Caramel brown with a thick fluffy tan head. Big wheaty aroma with an incredibly fluffy mouthfeel. Creamy, bubbly. Probably the best beer I had in Europe. Outstanding.
