Ok standard pils nose. Pale golden, ok head, relatively low carbonation. One-dimensional cheap pils taste, metallic bittering hops dominate. Grassy aftertaste, then nothing... Not really good, but worse cheap beers exist.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2012 Dominikaner Premium, brewed for Burghof Vertriebs GmbH, Frechen. Purchased on a gas station in Austria for 59 cents. Yes. 59 cents. Drunk on a train to Jena in Germany. Yellow-golden body with a big head. Dusty herbal, somewhat malty nose, not bad. The taste is, however crap, shitty empty sweaty maltiness, sweet & sour & salty & erm, yeah. 59 cents at an Austrian gas station.

500 ml + 13,5% bonus, making it a 568 ml can. Can’t really say anything about the appearance, since I bought it at a central station for the road. Also, this isn’t a beer you pour in a glass, you drink straight from the can!

From a 500 ml can. Golden and clear with a nice head, which is not really stable. Smell of yeast and grain. In the beginning, very malty/grainy taste with some floral notes. Later medium bitterness without any further interesting notes. Lively carbonization and medium body.

Smells hoppy-musty, with slight malty aromas. Starts with unpleasant bitterhops, very musty in the background. The middle part is somewhat watery and lax. Goes into a watery and bitterhoppy-musty finish. Never again!!!

Can. Sweet grainy barley malt aroma. Clear golden yellow color with large head. Slightly sweet creamy barley malt and mildly bitter herbal hops flavor - initially with strong metallic/quinine aftertaste but settles down after a while. Okay for a cheap rest-stop beer.

Blass-gelbe Farbe im Verein mit lustlosem und grobblasigem Schaum. Säuerlich-metallischer Geruch, versetzt mit Hopfenspuren. Hopfig-brotartiger Geschmack mit kräftiger Bitternote, die an der Grenze des Erträglichen vorbeischrammt.. Im Abgang kippt diese dann vollends ins Unangenehme. Dominikaner Pils gibt es überwiegend an Tankstellen zu kaufen. Dort sollte es dann auch bleiben und zum Ladenhüter avancieren.Test vom 28.6.2007, Gebinde: Dose

Frischer und herber Geruch, das gefällt. Ein billig wirkendes hopfig-herbes Aroma regiert dieses Bier, der Nachgeschmack ist bitter, sonst nur wässrig. Schmeckt allerhöchstens leicht unterdurchschnittlich, eher beschreibt es aber das Wort billig. Dafür sind 99 Cent + Pfand dann doch recht viel. 500ml can from Woolworth. MHB: 09.03.12. It pours a clear yellowish gold, hinting more towards yellow. It has a frothy white head that kind of sits on top of the beer, not receding fully. The smell is sweet and alcoholic, with an almost soda-like presence and some metal. It smells like it is form Mexico, minus the corn. The taste is more promising, but it definitely is cheap and rough-edged. It has a noticeable alcohol flavor despite the abv, it is a very messy pils. There is a bit of a hop note but it is over-ridden by the mundane malt bill. It is not that great.

Canned. Clear golden colour with creamy white head. Aroma is pale malty, bit sweet and fatty like an International Lager. Not much hops here. Poor maltiness, poorly hopped with kind of empty maltiness. Really low on the bitterness and hop aroma overall. Light bodied. In a blind tasting I’d guess this is a Pale Lager.
