Bottle. Super light, moderately active and a nice bright-white head. The initial impression is of a quite fruity brew ... my first thought was tropical fruit. Maybe a unintentional subliminal result of the name. As I drink, I realize it’s really more of a fruity hoppiness, but it never does come off quite right. Enjoyable enough, but I think it didn’t pull off what they wanted to here ...(#4256, 9/13/2011)

Butters (3686) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - SEP 2, 2011
Pours a clear yellow golden pour with with dense billowing seafoam white head. Pleasantly surprised with just how hoppy this is. Sweet fresh crisp nose with distinclty noble bitter hop flavor. Not as good as prima pils, but pretty damn tasty!

weihenweizen (1507) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - AUG 21, 2011
Refrigerated bottle poured into a shaker. Pours hazy deep golden with small white head. Little lacing, low/medium carbonation, and medium body. Taste is light malt and finishes with bitter hops. Not that great.

mansquito (3114) - Nueva York, New York, USA - AUG 4, 2011
Whole Foods Market, DC sixer ($6): Pours golden color without much in the way of head. Aroma is of light malt and light hops, smells kind of watered down. Taste is bitter throughout, but has a kind of soapy taste underneath it and only when the soapy taste recedes does the bread come out, leaving a sort of bitter, bready finish. It’s drinkable enough, but it sure ain’t that great.

Clear, effervescent golden body with a white head. Mild aroma with a including a little sweetness, straw, and floral hops. Floral hops and a little sweet malt taste followed by a slightly metallic and modestly bitter aftertaste.

Pours golden from bottle with a thin white head. Didn’t get much aroma out of this one. Taste was pretty blah but finish was clean.

Bottle - best I’ve had today, pours a clear gold, citrus, lemons, flowers. Taste is bitter but bright. A bit of carbonation.

Bottle. Gold body with a short white head. Sweet aroma with honey notes, grassy and floral hops, soft grains and light citrus. Taste is grainy with more soft honey notes, grassy hops, lighter floral notes, biscuit, sweet malt, and light lemony flavors. Body is medium with a full, bubbly carbonation. Finishes with more grains, floral hops, grassy hops, biscuit, honey-lemon and malt.

Pours gold with white head. Aroma was bready, grassy and a hint of lemon. Taste was sweet with a crisp finish. A good summer brew.
