3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
355ml bottle from the Romsey Beer Emporium. Amber with a loose white head; Saaz hop aroma; sweet cereal grain body; and some spritzy bitterness before a rather metallic finish. Not bad, but nothing more.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from some place in Canterbury. Nettle aroma. Difficult to say if it’s fresh but I would say not very. Some caramel some oxidisation. Some hop on finish. It’s not great to be honest. But stale. I could imagine it’s pretty decent fresh.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This beer is just that... A golden pilsner, with just enough caramelization to offset the beer from the average pilsner yellow. Well carbonated with a whipped-like head that you’d more often expect to see on a latte, it’s quite the looker for the style. The nose is pleasant and musky, almost bready, with malts and hops well balanced, thanks be to all that is
good that it doesn’t wreak of pilsner yeast. Earthy, dirty hops snuggle in at the center of the tongue, leading thinly into the finish with nice pilsner malt balance. It’s heavier than the average pilsner, but still very refreshing and light on the palate. There’s an interesting fermented malt flavor that almost reminds me of an apple cider, but beneath a somewhat heavy pilsner body. It’s inoffensive. That’s how I like my pilsners, and the extra body doesn’t hurt either. Nice... I’m impressed, especially as bad as
the label is.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Quite dry which i like and a grapefruit tartness to it, a good little lager but not something you would take to to your mother for Christmas.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A hazy, golden yellow coloured beer with a frothy white head. A light, grassy hop aroma, with a hint of citrus fruit. Dry mouthfeel. A strong, bitter, pithy citrus fruit flavour of grapefruit and orange, grassy and a touch piney. There is a hint of biscuity malt in the background. The hop element lingers long into the finish.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear pale yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is very spicy/skunky and lightly flowery. Flavor is fairly agressive as pilsners go and very leafy/flowery and fresh. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is dry and spicy/earthy bitter.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pale yellow pour. Fairly dense white head. Malt and hay in the aroma. Grassy hop flavor. Moderately bitter end. Not bad as a cold beer on a hot day.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
15th November 2012
Hazy gold beer, little white head. Light palate, a little crisp. Smooth malt, just a trace of cream. Nice medium hops - orange and generic citrus. Finishes smooth with a very mild bitter linger. Really hits the spot. Great lager.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance: clear straw yellow, with a short, fizzy bright white head. Aroma: lightly floral, with toasted white bread, lemon zest, fresh-cut grass. Taste: as the aroma indicates. Finish: crackery, slightly salty, with a bit of grass and white pepper. Notes: Loved the finish on this pils; it was probably the best part of it. Overall, very decent on a hot summer’s day.
