Pours straw-yellow with a bright white head that drops fairly quickly. The aroma is that of grain and some breadiness, along with faint hops. The flavor is bready malt with a strong hop bitterness. The finish is quite dry.

A refreshing aroma of hay, malt, and clean water. Taste is more IPA than Pilsener.. something of a hybrid. Itís not bad.

Bottle. Golden with a white foam. Aromas are biscuit and grain with grassy notes. Lemony with hints of lime and peach. Yeasty with traces of banana. Flavours are crisp citrus and dry biscuit with a pithy lime and grapefruit bitterness. Some background sweet lemon with light pine and good grassy, herbal hops. A tasty lager.

Robust aroma. Roasted malts, banana, citrus, spice, possibly clove and water. Flavor is refreshing and a touch bitter. Fruity esters and pungent malt refresh the palate. Foamy head as well as mouthfeel. Solid pils.

Draft at Moriartys. Slightly hazy gold amber pour. Decent thick frothy white head. Caramel toast. Somewhat fuller pilsner than most but nothing that interesting.

Bottle from some place in Canterbury. Nettle aroma. Difficult to say if itís fresh but I would say not very. Some caramel some oxidisation. Some hop on finish. Itís not great to be honest. But stale. I could imagine itís pretty decent fresh.

This beer is just that... A golden pilsner, with just enough caramelization to offset the beer from the average pilsner yellow. Well carbonated with a whipped-like head that youíd more often expect to see on a latte, itís quite the looker for the style. The nose is pleasant and musky, almost bready, with malts and hops well balanced, thanks be to all that is good that it doesnít wreak of pilsner yeast. Earthy, dirty hops snuggle in at the center of the tongue, leading thinly into the finish with nice pilsner malt balance. Itís heavier than the average pilsner, but still very refreshing and light on the palate. Thereís an interesting fermented malt flavor that almost reminds me of an apple cider, but beneath a somewhat heavy pilsner body. Itís inoffensive. Thatís how I like my pilsners, and the extra body doesnít hurt either. Nice... Iím impressed, especially as bad as the label is.
