355mL. Pours a super carbonated clear light orange. Small white foam. Nose is candied orange syrup, small perfume, wet cardboard. Taste is very sticky, boozy, sickly medicinal, some saltwater sweat. Palate is cereal stake grain like a malt liquor. Very poor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear golden orange with a small head. Nose is slight malt but otherwise very flat. Taste is mostly malt, grainy and some hops... quite uninteresting and boring. Finish is dry and ends with a mouthful of malt. Nah ! Quaff Score 4 / 120

Pours gold amber with a white head and aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is malty, of grains, caramel and some hops that lead to a slight bitter finish. Not the best flavor and quite boring.

Enjoyable. Nice balance of malt and hops. The nose wasn’t much to be desired but the taste was good.

Bottle: Malt sweetness and hop aroma. Hazy golden color, medium white head. Flavor is sweet, notes of candies, light fruity and well hopped. Quite nice.

Big Thaw was in the bargain bin at Bell Beverage for seventeen bucks a case. Drinking a Spring Bock in July does not bother me in the least. However, last couple of beers I had from Coastal brewing were average at best. After numerous bottles of Spring Thaw it was worth under $20 for a case. Golden Bock with strong hops and yeasty aftertaste. Decent bite, chock ful of alcohol and best when served iced cold.

Bottle, beer of the month, pours golden clear with a decent head, aroma of floral and fruity hops with some malt tones, flavor is hoppy with some orange and biscuit, pretty bitter, medium bodied, nice

Bottle. Beer of the month club. Clear amber, white head. Candy, sweet, some fruit in the nose, bitter, fruity-hoppy citrus in the mouth. Light body, easy to drink, long bitter finish. Not bad.
