A moderately sweet beer with a lot of citrus and grapefruit on the aroma and flavor. Malty backbone with a hoppy finish and slighty noticeable alcohol. A bit heavy.

Pours golden color with a tall head. Lots of lacing. Clean finish without a lot of flavor, but there is that mild maltiness. Goes down easily, good for a few.

Neat label! This bock has a golden color and an off-white head with slow, but steady carbonation. The aroma is a little odd, grainy and floral with a slightly green, plant-like character. That grass/weed-like greenness carries through in the flavor, characterizing the finish alongside a nudge of alcohol. It’s light-bodied, despite how long it takes air bubbles to travel to the surface. Sweetness is kept at a minimum, making way for a slight bock yeastiness in addition to the plant-like notes. Not bad for a bock, well fermented, and certainly well-decorated. If you like green and enjoy higher-alcohol lagers, you’ll love this. In fact, I’m upgrading my score of this from B- to a B just because of the alcohol presence.

A clear golden body with a white head that had good retention and no lacing. Aroma was slightly sweet, some caramel malts and some candied sugar. Initial flavor was nice and sweet there was almost a grassy note to it to balance it out. A decent floral hop note. Body was thin but there was a stickiness to it. Alcohol was mildly warming.

12 oz bottle This was the fourth beer purchased at Total Wine and More. The sweeter taste of the bock is present from the beginning. The head was formed nicely and no lacing. Smooth finish with soft carbonation. Just a little too sweet for me.

Bottle. Yellow, clear, almost no head. Mild aroma... Not much there. Slightly spiced taste some hop bitterness. Long finish that coats the mouth. Not my favorite.

2nd & last try from Old Dominion via Micro Club. Predominant flavors are malt & alcohol. Picking up some fruit esters on the nose and on the tongue as well. Overall, I’m just not happy with it. Way too much alcohol coming through on the end.

12oz bottle pours a clear golden/amber with a large white head. Aroma is sweet, grass, hops, and honey. Taste is sweet and malty with a slight hop spice. I feel like the high abv is taking away from the overall flavor here, however it is still pleasant and drinkable.

From a bottle poured a brown color with a small amount of head. Light sweet malty flavor with a quick finish.

What a lager! Cloudy orange color, sweet and strong body, it feels like an ale. One of the best lager so far.

Looks like a slightly darker pale lager and it smells like lager too but maybe a little sweeter onthe olfactory with a tad of dull hops. First taste is alky citrusy and malty bitter, Does have some old hop character down inside. A little heavy for a spring beer, eh? Yes, does little to hide the alky content. could be there is some medium ale hop effect in there. Bitter lingering mediicine.
