3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle with a bottling date of 2/18/13 so this is very fresh. This is listed as having an abv of 10.2% here but the back of the bottle says 9.0%. Anyway, it pours a light orange/amber with a slight haze and lots of head. The smell is not typical for a DIPA and is predominantly a candied sweetness, caramel malt and alcohol. Despite this beer being very fresh, and some of the reviews mentioning hops, I am not noticing much of a hop presence at all in the aroma. The taste is bitter but there is also a sweetness there. I would prefer if it wasn’t as sweet but at least it isn’t cloying. The body is medium and the finish is dry. The alcohol is also hidden very well. Closer to a barleywine than a DIPA.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Clear copper with a medium sized white head. White bread, citrus, light white cheese and sharp alcohol in the nose. Pretty much the same in the flavour. Could do with more aroma hops as the flavours are muted and the alcohol shines though. Feels ok in the mouth with soft carbonation and an ok balance between sweet and bitter.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle - citrus and resin nose. Strong resin once sipped. Reminds me of a more aggressive SN Torpedo. really aggressively bitter in the finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very hoppy. Maybe to heavy in that department. Puts hair on your chest hops. Had in bottle I believe.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: MAR 31, 2015 Thick, syrup-like, copper-coloured liquid, with a foamy white head. Extraordinarily high-gravity beer (9% abv). Bags of citrus aroma, including lemon and grapefruit, and very sweet, spiced caramel. Delicious to sip, but knocks your socks off.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 11/11/2014. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, floral, grass, light honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good complexity and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops and light-moderate pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, floral, grass, light honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, lemon/orange peel, pine, light honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops and light-moderate pale malt sweetness; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice DIPA style. All around great complexity and balance of bright citrus/tropical/piney hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to sip on for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle at Amagerbro Ølfest. Low fluffy quickly disappearing white head. Clear amber body. Sweet peach apple pear aroma and flavor. Heavy hops bitterness, high carbonation and a long dry finish. I like the alcohol level, could not smell or taste it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hoppy enough, for an easy coast DIPA. Orange golden color with nice foamy head. Pure hop aroma, piney, resinous, more of the same in the taste. Short finish, but overall pretty good.
