“This is a full-bodied American style double IPA brewed with five styles of malts and four different hops. This deep copper colored ale will be served unfiltered to maximize flavor and also dry hopped during the secondary fermentation to ensure a gracious hop aroma. Almost sweet honey flavor with a finish of cinnamon spice. The hop flavor is much later after swallowing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Dirty and earthy, light malt with a bitter grapefruit zest and hops that continues through the finish. Not bad, but not a standout.

APPEARANCE - 2F light brown head that dissipates, lots of lacing, amber, hazy AROMA/SCENT - Hops, malts, pine, a little sweet. TASTE - Hops, bitter, nutty, pine. ABV well-hidden. MOUTHFEEL/PALATE/TEXTURE - Good carbonation, dry, bubbly, light, effervescent, crisp, refreshing. VALUE - Good value - 6-pack for $11.99. OVERALL/DRINKABILITY - Very nice Imperial IPA. Too bad they don’t distribute in NY. I had to go to Hoboken to buy it.

Bosco (222) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - MAY 2, 2015
Deep copper amber color, minimal head yet sticky lacing and layers. Nice sweet floral nose. Alcohol/bourbon, long lingering finish. I believe the second dry hopping is what makes this beer. $8.99/12oz sixer at Target, Leesburg VA

Bottle. Clear copper with a medium sized white head. White bread, citrus, light white cheese and sharp alcohol in the nose. Pretty much the same in the flavour. Could do with more aroma hops as the flavours are muted and the alcohol shines though. Feels ok in the mouth with soft carbonation and an ok balance between sweet and bitter.

12oz bottle - citrus and resin nose. Strong resin once sipped. Reminds me of a more aggressive SN Torpedo. really aggressively bitter in the finish.

Very hoppy. Maybe to heavy in that department. Puts hair on your chest hops. Had in bottle I believe.

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2015 Thick, syrup-like, copper-coloured liquid, with a foamy white head. Extraordinarily high-gravity beer (9% abv). Bags of citrus aroma, including lemon and grapefruit, and very sweet, spiced caramel. Delicious to sip, but knocks your socks off.
