“This is a full-bodied American style double IPA brewed with five styles of malts and four different hops. This deep copper colored ale will be served unfiltered to maximize flavor and also dry hopped during the secondary fermentation to ensure a gracious hop aroma. Cheers from us to you and may you enjoy it with friends.

THOUGHTS: Not bad, but a little cloying. A little simplistic, really. Hid alcohol incredibly well. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a hazy, light to medium, brownish orange with an average, off-white head that mostly diminished and left excellent lacing. The aroma was little weak compared to the flavor, but contained moderate molasses and caramel; moderate orangey citrus hops; honey; brown sugar; and slight alcohol. The initial flavor was heavily sweet and lightly bitter; while the finish was harshly sweet and moderately bitter. There was caramel, brown sugar, citrus (mostly orange) and pine hops, maple syrup, resinous hops, alcohol, and honey. The medium to full body was fairly oily with somewhat soft carbonation that was still tingly and a lightly alcoholic finish.

bottle @ Jungle Jim’s / Eastgate OH --- Hazy dirty medium amber color, one-finger white head that stays, lace cobwebs. Aroma of pine hops and malt. Taste is caramel malt that turns to edgy crisp carbonation on the swallow, then on to solid hops. Somehow, in this massive brew, the malt stays through the bitter end, bringing with it more and more sweet for an impeccably balanced finish. Surprising and terrific brew. Wow!

Bottle. Aroma is sugary cereal with lots of pine too. Tastes way too sweet. Big pine, lots of dank hops, but just too much sugary and honey sweetness. Medium to full body. Syrupy mouthfeel. Hard to finish to whole bottle.

Life is good. Og utseendet? Gylden, med hvitt skum.

Shared bottle at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 23.08.15. Slighty hazy orange. White head and lacing. Aroma of citrus and sweet Sevilla marmelade. Similar, and strong, taste. Low carbonation. Superb!
