“This is a full-bodied American style double IPA brewed with five styles of malts and four different hops. This deep copper colored ale will be served unfiltered to maximize flavor and also dry hopped during the secondary fermentation to ensure a gracious hop aroma. Cheers from us to you and may you enjoy it with friends.

THOUGHTS: Not bad, but a little cloying. A little simplistic, really. Hid alcohol incredibly well. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a hazy, light to medium, brownish orange with an average, off-white head that mostly diminished and left excellent lacing. The aroma was little weak compared to the flavor, but contained moderate molasses and caramel; moderate orangey citrus hops; honey; brown sugar; and slight alcohol. The initial flavor was heavily sweet and lightly bitter; while the finish was harshly sweet and moderately bitter. There was caramel, brown sugar, citrus (mostly orange) and pine hops, maple syrup, resinous hops, alcohol, and honey. The medium to full body was fairly oily with somewhat soft carbonation that was still tingly and a lightly alcoholic finish.

Tap @ JB Aalborg. Pour deep clear amber, with a small white head. Aroma of grass, pine, tropical fruits, some caramel malty sweetness, slight slight parfume, some sugar sweetness too. Taste is slightly sweet up front, with a heavy dose of bitterness from the middle and out. Medium N’ slightly sticky body, with a semi-flat carbonation.

Twist off bottle. Titillating label. Frisky citrus aroma. Clear yellow orange. Nasty taste kick in the mouth, wew. Chewing on really green grapefruit rinds and pine tar. Some co2 in there but its still quite syrupy. Rototiller finish. Like an ipa but so much more intense, terribly on style, wewwee. Not impressed.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

For a dipa not to good. Almost has the flavor of a double d worn through a hot sweaty war. But the deodorant kept working. Ha. Nice floral aroma. Taste is a bit salt water thin with hop. Not a harsh hop but very thin. Maybe a c cup?

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a small, off-white head. Rather stale hop aroma, very chemical. Rich body, clearly a lot of breadish malts in there with a rather bitter finish. But lacks aromatic qualities to carry through. Nothing left of the dry-hopping whatsoever. 190314

Pours a light amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of some caramel malts and plenty of citrus and pine hops. A little bit of alcohol as well. Flavor is slightly sweet at first from the caramel malts but give way to the bitterness of the citrus and pine hops. Slight alcohol warming on the finish as well.

Aromen kommer starkare efter en stund. Påminner då om en barley wine i doften. En väl balanserad öl med en fin god beska som ligger o lurar länge i munnen.
