THOUGHTS: Not bad, but a little cloying. A little simplistic, really. Hid alcohol incredibly well. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a hazy, light to medium, brownish orange with an average, off-white head that mostly diminished and left excellent lacing. The aroma was little weak compared to the flavor, but contained moderate molasses and caramel; moderate orangey citrus hops; honey; brown sugar; and slight alcohol. The initial flavor was heavily sweet and lightly bitter; while the finish was harshly sweet and moderately bitter. There was caramel, brown sugar, citrus (mostly orange) and pine hops, maple syrup, resinous hops, alcohol, and honey. The medium to full body was fairly oily with somewhat soft carbonation that was still tingly and a lightly alcoholic finish.

Citrus and some booze come together for a decent IPA. Finishes fairly bitter. Pours orange with ok head and lacing. Average carbonation. Lots of hops, just needs a little better integration. Bottle.

Mostly clear deep copper orange pour with a half inch of dense white head. Ester-y citrus aroma with some buscuit and rye malt, subtle melon also. Ligh scent overall. Soft carbonation, finish somewhat filmy. Taste has intense bitterness, bright citrus hops, rye and biscuit malt. Alcohol is evident but it still remains an overall light and straightforward DIPA.

Bottle at Rick’s. Smooth and creamy beer. Full flavored style. Rich malt, hops, pine, grass, spices, yeast. Thin body. Only slightly bitter. Really can’t notice the alcohol.
