“This is a full-bodied American style double IPA brewed with five styles of malts and four different hops. This deep copper colored ale will be served unfiltered to maximize flavor and also dry hopped during the secondary fermentation to ensure a gracious hop aroma. Cheers from us to you and may you enjoy it with friends.

THOUGHTS: Not bad, but a little cloying. A little simplistic, really. Hid alcohol incredibly well. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a hazy, light to medium, brownish orange with an average, off-white head that mostly diminished and left excellent lacing. The aroma was little weak compared to the flavor, but contained moderate molasses and caramel; moderate orangey citrus hops; honey; brown sugar; and slight alcohol. The initial flavor was heavily sweet and lightly bitter; while the finish was harshly sweet and moderately bitter. There was caramel, brown sugar, citrus (mostly orange) and pine hops, maple syrup, resinous hops, alcohol, and honey. The medium to full body was fairly oily with somewhat soft carbonation that was still tingly and a lightly alcoholic finish.

Bottle, 9%. Caramelly aroma. Clear copper colour. Big stable creamy white head. The flavour starts off quite peppery, but also malty and sweet. It has a high, clean bitterness and a nice caramelly malt flavour with a hint of pine.

At a tasting, thanks Stas., small stable bubbly head, aroma of dark bread and nuts with some jam in the back, jammy flavour with a strong shrubby herbal bitterness and some bready maltiness in the back,. Boring.

Keg at Jake’s Place. Clear golden body with a thin white head that quickly fades. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of honey, pine needles and orange. Flavour is intensely bitter - notes of biscuit, orange, caramel and fresh hops. Medium body with a chewy mouthfeel. Lively fizz. A decent DIPA with lingering hop bitterness.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Stas & Vova. Clear golden. Weak aroma with malt, a bit of caramel, stale hops and a bit of alcohol. Sweetish flavor with malt, a bit of caramel, stale hops and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

Pours copper with a white head. Aroma is citrus with floral notes and pine. Flavor starts off caramel malt followed with grapefruit and finishing with a pine resin bitterness. If nothing else it’s got a nice label.
