Bottle thanks to Gruber, cheers. Pours a pale golden with a lot off sediment which struggles to settle and almost no head. Aroma is musty. Spice, pepper, Orange citrus with some slight earth. Also an overall aroma of golden syrup. Flavor is serious sweet with a bit of a dry finish. Low carbonation and a full body.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, part of the ’drink a few saisons before trying to brew one’ series. I guess I learned a few mistakes to avoid from this one. A kind of mid-amber colour with quite obvious particles in suspension. Maybe this is ’farmhouse’. Sweet and cloying, way too sweet for a saison, dripping in booze. In one sense it’s actually nice enough to drink as a Belgian Strong or something, tastes nice enough. Actually tastes like the first Belgian homebrew I ever attempted, which I would have pretty much given the above review to. As a saison, poor. On its own terms, pleasant!

Cloudy, somewhat sweet, saison. Heavy body, but little head. High alcohol compared to many of same style.

22oz bomber more than two years old. Unfiltered orange-tan body. Massive foamy head. Sort of seems infected, and at the same time heavily oxidized. Aspirin dry aroma. Really long gone, this is quite bad. Some amber malt oddness. Really unenjoyable. Drain pour. Do not age this beer.

Bottle, pours amber slight head. Herbs and pepper on the nose with some funk. Fruity and some back end caramel sweetness on the palate, good without being great, not a bad attempt at a saison.

355ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours hazy amber, decent off-white head. Light spice on the nose, and a fruity maltiness. Noticeably yeasty. Taste has sherbet and more spice, quite a sweet finish. Good.

Bottle from Capone’s, Pours hazy bright orange with floaties and minimal off-white head. Nose is caramel malt, tangeriney citrus, yeasty mild funk. Tastes caramel malty, somewhat sweet, with orange marmalade, hops, pine, and grapefruity notes. Medium palate heft.

Quite a dark looking saison. The nose reminds me of Matilda with maybe a touch more sweetness. Smooth, sweet and lovely. The texture is nice and puffy, there is a little heat in the dry finish. I’m actually quite a fan, except for the light acetone that lingers.
