Commercial Description:
DOMINION GOLDEN LAGER is mild, smooth beer brewed in the German Export Style. This means a golden Munich-style beer. When we started making this beer in 1992, when it was called Helles, it was much paler in color. We made the beer darker by adding more roasted malt. Now its color is slightly darker in color.

Not a bad beer at all, although I’d say it’s pretty much average across the board. Bright golden, almost yellow colored. Thin white head, fruity, malt aroma. Taste is sweeter than a lot of lagers I’ve had, pretty smooth and refreshing.

deep golden color white head, aroma is mostly malty, grass or corn-like. flavor has a tiny bit of hops to it, sweet, carbonated, ok body, not bad, just nothing spectacular.

On draft at the brewery, 9/1/05: Malt-cerealy and bright yellow. Nice full body. Good lager and the favorite among my compatriots.

On tap at Dominion. Deep clear golden with a medium white head, a little darker than their highly superior Dominion Lager. Aroma is of light grass and hay. Flavor has notes of grain, some caramel and a little grassy hoppiness. Moderately sweet, medium hop bitterness at the end. Full, round and creamy with lively carbonation. As stated, not nearly as good as the Dominion Lager but not awful either.

Worthless. Rusy and smoky taste to it. Why does it even exist. A time and money and liver healthiness waster.
