Bottle, Chester Beer & Wine. A murky bronze pour with a small off white head. Sweet malt driven nose with some fragrant hop lurking. A similar yarn unfolded flavour-wise with some fruity notes alongside rather muted bitterness. Considering the name I was expecting a bit more hop presence. A drinkable if unspectacular offering.

Bottle. Cloudy brown beer with a strong head. The aroma is hopped with maltyness, and the flavour is bitter and well hopped. Overall a pleasant well hopped beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle: pours a clear copper bronze with a spotty-lacing froth of white head. Has a lightly sweet toasted caramel malty nose with some grapefruity hop notes. Starts with decent fullness and fine carbonation with a toasted malty sweetness that quickly gives way to a citrusy grassy hop bitterness before a drier bittersweet finish. Pretty clean and drinkable, but could benefit from a more assertive hop presence.

bottle beersofeurope. sweet caramel hop note, pours a hazy red. Some faint metallic note, with sharp bitterness on the tongue. Semi sweet lingering finish. Solid enough.

Bottled on 04/12/12. Nose of sweet, juicy hops, nicely pungent citrus and light woodsiness, some light dough. Deep opaque amber with a frothy beige head. Taste is bitter and resinous with some scratch, bone dry with a dull/muddy caramel base and a good handful of earth. Touch of watery citrus. Flat medium body and a little booze heft. Standard APA.

Bottle from Utobeer in London Bridge. First impressions are good. Beautiful hoppy aroma and amber colour. Not much head though and it dissipates quite quickly. Overall a very pleasant hoppy ale, exactly what it says on the tin ;)

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled 6/6/2012. Pours hazy orange copper color with a 1 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, orange peel, herbal, floral, caramel, mango, bread, toast, and light piney spiciness. Nice aromas with good strength and balance. Taste of orange zest, grapefruit, herbal, caramel, bread, floral, pine, and light herbal spiciness. Fair amount of citrus bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, floral, bread, herbal, pine, caramel, and herbal spiciness on the finish for a bit. Nice complexity of hop flavors; with a great bitterness/sweetness balance. Zero cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a creamy, lightly sticky, and lightly crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very nice pale ale. Very good flavor balance, and very smooth to drink. Very enjoyable offering; exceeded my expectations given the bottle dating.

Pours clear gold with a tall, long-lasting, off-white head. Sweet malt aroma, warm bread, honey. The flavor is slightly sweet with a long dry finish. OK Pale Ale.
