3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
At Dulles Airport - beautiful cloudy orange whith a 3/4" white foam head. Floral hops aroma. Decent hops and malt balance, but somehow seems to missing a strong malt background. I like it after a 5 hour flight.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap at Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis, MD. Pours clear copper with a yellowish, rocky, impressive protein and isohumulone laden head. Good rocky retention. Muted citrus hop nose with corn. Taste is decently thick with soap and metallic of character. Sudsy and soapy palate with decent resinous hop bitterness. Not too offensive. Much too soapy though. No quenching malt character. As it warms there is a frozen veggie character I am not a fan of. Probably mild DMS problem masked by hop bitterness. Fordham/Dominion is a great brewery to help aspiring beer judges pinpoint classic brewing flaws.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Name a misnomer, nothing mountainous about the hops. Aroma of floral and citrus notes. Flavor has pine taking a little bit of a role, citrus at the front, caramel in the base. Smooth, a bit wanting of more hops, mouthfeel moderate to light in body. An ok brew.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a dark copper with a weak white head, not much lacing. Slightly floral aroma. Beginning flavor is light piney hops that last throughout, fairly thin mouth feel. Not the hop bomb the description makes it out to be, but a decent Pale Ale.
