By taste alone, I thought this was an IPA. Dark pour, off white head, heavy hops flavor. Dry but not bitter and very easy to drink. An excellent APA, right up there with stouds American Pale Ale.

Great pale ale that is clean, gorgeous, not quite crisp but very light on its feet, and smells like a hop flower ass banging a caramel. It has a medium bodied syrupy thick with flavor mouthfeel and tingles all areas of the tongue and palate. Nice and complete pale ale, and a great value too. This is the type of beer I pick up in cases just becasue I know it will get dranked up and won’t sit around long.

Bottle from Utobeer in London Bridge. First impressions are good. Beautiful hoppy aroma and amber colour. Not much head though and it dissipates quite quickly. Overall a very pleasant hoppy ale, exactly what it says on the tin ;)

Pours a deep amber with off white head. Aroma is full of earthy hops. The flavor was rich and deep with a solid caramel malt backbone followed by a generous dose of hops and long finish. Lots of body and flavor in this pale ale. Nicely done.

Awesomely drinkable yet hoppy pale ale. Great for any time. Not overly holly or lacking malt, a very well rounded, delicious pale ale

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled 6/6/2012. Pours hazy orange copper color with a 1 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, orange peel, herbal, floral, caramel, mango, bread, toast, and light piney spiciness. Nice aromas with good strength and balance. Taste of orange zest, grapefruit, herbal, caramel, bread, floral, pine, and light herbal spiciness. Fair amount of citrus bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, floral, bread, herbal, pine, caramel, and herbal spiciness on the finish for a bit. Nice complexity of hop flavors; with a great bitterness/sweetness balance. Zero cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a creamy, lightly sticky, and lightly crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very nice pale ale. Very good flavor balance, and very smooth to drink. Very enjoyable offering; exceeded my expectations given the bottle dating.
