Caramel malt aroma, with a touch of earthy hops. Pours a clear dark amber, with a full white head. Citrus hop bite to start with, balanced well against the malt backbone. Lingering hop presence for the finish. Not a bad easy drinking pale ale.

Christian (11217) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 6, 2014
On tap at Christian Firtal. Amber with a small white head. Malty aroma with biscuit and bread, along with citrus notes. Sweet malty flavour. A little dusty, perhaps too old?

Pours a deep Amber colour. Aroma is malty, taste is quite malty too, for a beer called hop mountain the hoppiness leaves a lot to beer desired. Too sweet and malty... Fail.

Flaske. Ravfarvet klar øl med et flot skumhoved. Sødlig duft af let Ståle humle. Smagen er meget sødlig men humlen kan klart mærkes. Ikke så frispark som den gerne måtte have været.

Leighton (11322) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 16, 2014
Keg at Porterhouse London. Pours clear, amber-gold with a foamy cap. The aroma has some notes of dry bread, leafy hops, grains and dry caramel. Medium sweet flavor with lightly abrasive bitter toasted grass, more leaves, earth. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Basic finish with further dried caramel character, toasted bread, dirt. Mediocre.

Good easy drinking pale ale without much character one way or another. Some citrus and a decent malt backbone. Pours cloudy brown without much head or lacing. Decently bitter finish. Bottle from Chevy chase.
